Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Borelli.
Hi Taylor, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I always knew I loved the entertainment aspect of life. Growing up I was always the family comedian, telling jokes, acting out my favorite scenes from movies, singing, and always saying what’s on my mind. I always knew I loved making content as I was always the one filming funny moments with family and friends. One day I decided to just a post a random TikTok and the rest is history!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been smooth! I remember when I first started out I struggled to hit my first 100 followers. I kept telling myself to be consistent and putting my authentic self out there and the right audience will find me. I am so glad I kept going because I have now gained an entire following and community with over 65k followers!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Right now I post content across Tiktok and Instagram. I am most known for my “South Philly words” segments or my “trolling with Tay segment”. Anytime I meet my followers or see someone I know in public, those are the two segments that get recognized the most! I am most proud that throughout my content journey I have always stayed true and authentic to myself. I think my real and rawness is what sets me apart from others! I always keep it real and I think people can respect a creator who is honest!
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The thing I like best about my city is the food! Philly has some of the BEST food in the entire world! We are known for cheesesteaks, but there are sooooo many more amazing things Philly has to offer! Aside from our amazing pretzels and water ice, I also think we have some of the best pizza spots!! If I am being honest, there is nothing about Philly that I dislike… except the potholes LOL. If you plan to drive around the city, beware of the potholes!!
