Hi Shaina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My entrepreneurial journey began with a decision to choose myself. After dedicating nearly two decades to the human services field, I found myself at a crossroads. I loved my career and the work I did, but I realized that the organization I was working for no longer aligned with my personal and professional growth. Making the decision to walk away wasn’t easy, but looking back, it was one of the most important decisions I could have made.
Leaving that job sparked something in me. It gave me the motivation to step outside of my comfort zone, explore my creativity, and pursue something of my own. That’s how 365 Pure-Vibes, LLC was born.
I’ve always loved celebrations, bringing people together, and creating memorable experiences. I wanted to build something that reflected that passion while allowing me the freedom to be creative. What started as an idea grew into a photo booth and event rental business that brings excitement and lasting memories to weddings, birthdays, school functions, corporate events, and other special occasions.
For me, 365 Pure-Vibes is so much more than a photo booth business. It’s about the smiles, the laughter, the connections, and those special moments people get to relive long after an event has ended. Seeing something I created become part of someone else’s cherished memories is incredibly rewarding.
Although entrepreneurship opened a new door for me, my passion for human services never went away. With nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I was inspired to take that same dedication and build something of my own in that field. This led to the creation of Journi Supportive Solutions LLC, an agency focused on providing meaningful, person-centered supports that promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
Today, I’m grateful to be building two businesses that represent different parts of who I am. 365 Pure-Vibes allows me to express my creativity and bring joy to others, while Journi Supportive Solutions allows me to continue fulfilling my passion for helping people live meaningful lives.
As a wife and mother of three, balancing family life and entrepreneurship has been a journey of its own. I’m especially grateful for my husband, who has been a constant source of encouragement and plays an active role in helping bring my vision to life. His support has made this journey even more meaningful.
My journey hasn’t been about having everything figured out. It’s been about trusting myself, embracing change, and having the courage to pursue something greater.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but I wouldn’t trade the experience. Starting a business from the ground up comes with its own set of challenges. From learning the ins and outs of running a business to building a brand, attracting clients, and finding ways to stand out, there’s been a lot of trial and error along the way.
One of my biggest challenges has been learning to balance entrepreneurship with my personal life. As a wife, mother of three, and someone who continues to work in the human services field, finding that balance isn’t always easy. There are long days, late nights, and moments when I question whether I’m doing enough.
I’ve also had to learn to be patient with the process. When you’re passionate about something, you naturally want to see it grow, but I’ve learned that building something meaningful takes time, consistency, and dedication.
Through it all, every challenge has taught me something valuable. I’ve learned to trust my instincts, give myself grace, and celebrate the small victories along the way. I’m still learning and growing, but that’s part of what makes this journey so rewarding.

What I believe sets 365 Pure-Vibes apart is the personal touch we bring to every event. I take pride in the details, from designing customized overlays and creating unique props to coordinating backdrops and making sure each experience reflects the client’s theme and personality. I don’t want our services to feel like just another rental. I want our clients and their guests to feel like they’re getting an experience that was thoughtfully created just for them.
I’m especially proud of the relationships we’ve built and the opportunities we’ve had to be part of so many meaningful celebrations. Seeing guests enjoy themselves, hearing positive feedback, and having clients trust us with their special moments reminds me why I started this business.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as being able to walk in your purpose. For me, success isn’t measured solely by financial achievements or how much a business grows, but by the fulfillment that comes from doing something you genuinely love.
