Today we’d like to introduce you to Roberta Adamski.
Hi Roberta, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Id be happy too! The company started accidentally actually lol. I truly had no intention on it being where it is today. but, I’m very happy it is because it has been a 360 degree win for everyone all around and it has truly helped so many already! I had found out I was pregnant with our 4th child, my husband and I were just making financial ends meet with our 3 kiddos so I was able to stay home to raise them and not have to work outside of our home. I remember sitting there on my couch and beside me was a HUGE mound of laundry. I started angry folding it while thinking how I was going to now have to get a job to help pay for things and leave my kiddos at times. as I was folding , it hit me that if I had this problem with laundry I bet other people did too and maybe I could do other peoples laundry here at our house and charge them but would still be able to stay home and raise the kiddos. I put it out there on social media and my schedule filled up instantly. I had so much laundry to do lol. I then got a call from a lady and she said she was so happy to have found a service like this because she really needed it because she had cancer and would be going in for treatments and her husband didn’t know how to do it and they had 3 kids. at that point I literally had no room left to fit her in my schedule but I also could not tell her no obviously because of the circumstances……..so I just double booked her in my schedule. I knew I wouldn’t be able to do both orders together so I started reaching out to friends and family asking them if anyone wanted to take on some of my laundry orders and make some extra cash. many of them did!!! as more people started wanting to use the service, and more of my friends and family started taking on more orders, I realized how much people needed this service and thought I better make it into a legal business and so I did!!! a few years later I was getting super overwhelmed with work and my sister Alysha had just had a baby and she wanted to stay home with her kids too so she became my partner!!! We have been slowly growing and building that strong foundation over the last 11 years and this past year has been our best one yet!! I’m excited to see what comes next and who else we will help and meet along the way!!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part it has been smooth over all however nothing is ever perfect and there is always something that comes up that needs ironed out lol . but that’s life right!! we live we learn and we grow and do the best we can while going through it!

Both My sister and I are moms with multiple children but also own and run a unique business at the same time that not many are familiar with. as time goes on more and more people are learning about what we do but also have started to copy us as well. we are the original mobile laundry business “Uber Laundry” creators who came up with the authentic idea! and I am very very proud to be able to say that! It operates and runs just like Uber but for laundry. We hire service providers to pickup and launder individual and small businesses everyday laundry! I have always had an out of the box type of thinking style and my sister Alysha is amazing with accounting, business and communications and together we make a great team!! Our children Naudia, Mason, Alexandrea, Trevor, Sierra, Savanna and Roman are our most prideful joys in life though!! Our kids are our everything!
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
being that both Alysha and I are sisters, we both grew up in a happy fun loving home with wonderful parents!!! to this day we still tell our mom she is the BEST MOM IN THE WORLD because we truly think she is! our dad is no longer with us but we would still be telling him the same if he was too. I Roberta was always willing and open to trying new things and taking those risks I have always been my own person who didn’t follow the crowd unless I wanted or really had to. Alysha was a little more reserved and followed more of the rules! we have always been very social and had a lot of friends! Our family things always came first!
