Meet Matt Scoletti of Breakthrough Enterprises LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matt Scoletti.

Hi Matt, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
There was a time in my life when I was more than 50 pounds overweight, struggling with alcohol, and not living anywhere close to the person I knew I could become. Getting sober changed the trajectory of my life. It forced me to take responsibility for my decisions, my health, my mindset, and ultimately the person I wanted to be.

From there, I became obsessed with discovering what we’re capable of when we stop putting limits on ourselves. That journey has taken me through 25 Ironmans, 21 marathons in 21 days, a 55-hour Navy SEAL experience, ultra-endurance events, and 2 one million-pound weightlifting challenges for
World records.

But the accomplishments aren’t really the story. The person I had to become to accomplish them is.

Along the way, I learned that purpose gives us direction, discomfort helps us grow, and our identity often determines what we believe is possible.

Today, I try to take everything those experiences have taught me and use it to help other people think bigger about their own lives—to become more intentional with their health, their time, their relationships, and the impact they want to make.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. Some of the most important parts of my story came from the hardest seasons.

I spent years struggling with alcohol, was more than 50 pounds overweight, and reached a point where I knew I needed to completely change the direction of my life. Getting sober was one of the hardest—and most important—things I’ve ever done.

Even after that, life hasn’t suddenly become easy. I’ve experienced failures, setbacks, self-doubt, loss, and plenty of moments where things didn’t go according to plan. I’ve learned that you don’t get to choose every challenge that comes into your life, but you do get to choose who you become through it.

That’s actually why I started doing so many difficult endurance challenges. They taught me how to become comfortable being uncomfortable and how to keep moving forward when my mind is telling me to quit.

Looking back, I wouldn’t want a perfectly smooth road. The struggles are what built the resilience, perspective, faith, and gratitude I have today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My work is centered around one idea: Challenges Build Champions.

As a professional speaker and event emcee, I use storytelling, humor, and lessons from extreme challenges—including 25 Ironmans, 21 marathons in 21 days, and a 55-hour Navy SEAL experience—to help people build resilience, embrace discomfort, and discover what they’re capable of.

My signature keynote, Challenges Build Champions, isn’t just about motivation—it’s about giving people practical tools to navigate adversity and come out stronger. What sets my brand apart is simple: I don’t just talk about overcoming challenges. I’ve lived them.

How do you think about happiness?
I love doing fun things with people that I love! Hiking with my wife. Trail running. Recording podcasts and creating content. And doing fun activities with others like whitewater rafting, rock climbing, sky diving, hiking, or running!
