Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Collier-Clark.
Hi Kelly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My love for interior design started early during my childhood years, heavily influenced by my mother and grandmother. Their homes were both layered with custom upholstered furnishings & window treatments and beautiful, unique decor. When my first home was purchased at 21yrs old, naturally I had already developed an innate passion for dwelling in a home that looked and felt luxurious. After spending about 20 years building a thriving corporate career, and loving the process of creating beautiful spaces at home & helping friends in their homes, I decided to explore interior design as a second career. I completed Temple University’s Interior Design program and started my own business while still working in my full time career. Fast forward, seven years in business later, here we are.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been all smooth. Taking the leap of faith to change careers is one thing. Becoming an entrepreneur is beyond what one could truly imagine. The discomfort of business ebbs and flows, contractor challenges, figuring out how and when to best scale; are all just a few instances that presented struggles along the way.
We’ve been impressed with House of Clark Interiors , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
House of Clark is a boutique interior design house, focusing on full scale design & renovation for residential and commercial services.
My niche’ and love language is bath design. Kitchen design is winning my heart these days as well.
What sets me apart is my ability to leverage skills backed by my corporate business career of over 20yrs and my offer of services in real estate. I’ve been a Realtor for over 17yrs. And— Most recently I’ve began the journey of becoming a product designer.
What I’m most proud of is the authentic brand and the strong community of relationships I’ve built organically within the industry. I have been awarded for my services and acknowledged as a voice of influence, a mentor, and a trend setter helping to shape the future of design. I am not only proud, but truly honored.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I’ve had a few design mentors turned trusted friends over the years and most recently started a design mentor cohort, the House of Clark Collective; built of peer mentees. My mentors and mentees both deserve credit in parts for helping to sharpen & contribute to my growth. Mentors provided guidance beyond my education early on and have shown me what’s possible to accomplish, while mentees have shared have shared testimonies that prove the importance in paying it forward.
