Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith.
Hi Keith, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born and raised in Scranton, PA. I always love creating different types of artwork in all sorts of mediums, Loved art class all through school. I took private art lessons while I was growing up.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Balancing several jobs with my teabag business overall.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I paint on upcycled teabags using watercolor paint. Each painting is a one of a kind work of art. Each piece is hand painted. I love creating pet portraits, house portraits, etc. I have painted over 4000 teabags that make up my portfolio which has a vast range of subject matter in a wide range of painting styles as well. They are all over the world.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
My journey painting on teabags, started as a friendly bet. During a break, a co-worker of mine was steeping a teabag, she gave me the challenge of trying to paint on a teabag, I said throw it in a bag and I will give it a shot. The rest is history.
