Hi Damon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started working in IT after college and was always eager to learn and work on side projects independently. I taught myself web design and development over the past 10+ years. Yet I failed to launch and grow many software as a service businesses. However I had learned a lot and started doing website services on the side for various friends and family. I’m working towards growing my business while also working full time and helping my wife with raising our two kids. It a juggling act to shuffle between so many responsbilities however it is also fun and fullfilling. I was diagnosed with MS many years ago during all this, I believe in 2016. Fortunately, After hearing of the diagnosis it was very dissapointing. But I felt fortunate, considering I didn’t suffer from severe symptons like many others. So around the same time as COVID I started running and haven’t stopped since. I honestly feel healthier now considering the cicrumstances thanks to regularly exercising.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being an introver, I have struggled with networking an getting the word out there that I have web design and development skills that can add value to other businesses.
