Hi Ron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
How Your Podcast Studio Started
Your Podcast Studio was founded in 2021 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, with a simple vision: to create a platform where local voices, sports, faith, and community stories could be shared with passion and professionalism.
What started as a small operation has continued to grow and evolve into a full multimedia platform producing podcasts, live sports broadcasts, community programming, interviews, and special events.
Founded by Ron Mounts, Your Podcast Studio has always been about more than simply producing shows. The goal has been to give local people, businesses, athletes, organizations, and communities a professional platform to tell their stories and reach a larger audience.
Over the years, the studio has expanded its production capabilities with multi-camera broadcasts, professional graphics, livestreaming, sponsor integrations, and on-location productions throughout Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
From humble beginnings in 2021 to where it is today, the mission remains the same:
Give people a voice. Tell great stories. Support the community. And continue growing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road for Your Podcast Studio has definitely not always been smooth.
Like any business built from the ground up, there have been plenty of challenges, setbacks, learning experiences, and growing pains along the way. Starting in 2021 with a simple setup and a vision, we had to learn, adapt, invest, and continue improving as we grew.
There have been technical challenges, equipment upgrades, changes in shows and personalities, financial decisions, and times when things simply didn’t go according to plan. Building an audience and establishing a recognizable brand doesn’t happen overnight.
But every challenge has helped shape what Your Podcast Studio is today.
Instead of giving up when something didn’t work, we learned from it and kept moving forward. We upgraded our equipment, improved our productions, expanded our programming, developed new partnerships, and continued finding ways to give local voices and businesses a platform.
The journey hasn’t been perfect—and we’re still growing.
But looking back at where we started compared to where we are today makes every challenge along the way worth it.
The vision has always been bigger than the obstacles.

What are your plans for the future?
The future of Your Podcast Studio is all about growth, expansion, and creating bigger opportunities for our shows, hosts, sponsors, and community.
We want to continue expanding our lineup of original programming while taking the quality of our productions to another level. That includes continuing to improve our technology, live broadcasting capabilities, graphics, remote productions, and overall viewer experience.
Another major goal is to expand our reach beyond the local area. We are proud of our New Castle roots and will always remain committed to our community, but our vision is to build an audience that reaches throughout Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and eventually on a much larger regional and national level.
We also plan to continue developing partnerships with businesses, organizations, sports programs, community leaders, and venues while creating new opportunities for advertising and sponsorship.
Most importantly, we want Your Podcast Studio to become a place where great ideas can become great shows and local voices can reach audiences they may have never thought possible.
We’ve come a long way since starting in 2021, but we believe we’re still just getting started.
The goal isn’t simply to build a bigger studio—it’s to build a bigger platform.
