Hi Dr. Elyssa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I founded the Inner Canvas Collective to build a community of mental health professionals committed to transforming our field. Our mission centers on two key goals: improving the quality and appropriateness of care for children, young adults, and families, while simultaneously addressing professional growth and enhancing clinician wellness.
The Inner Canvas Collective challenges conventional approaches to professional development and career sustainability in mental health. We believe innovative practices can reshape how we grow as professionals and maintain our well-being throughout our careers.
Our services reflect this dual commitment to client care and professional support. We offer family-based play therapy and psychodynamic/depth psychotherapy to serve clients, alongside approved training, consultation, and supervision to support fellow mental health professionals in their ongoing development.

No, of course not! Some struggles include building the practice over time, our reach and visibility, and financial means.

Psychodynamic (analytic) psychotherapist, family based play therapy, creativity and creative growth. My experiences in clinical work and training/supervision/academia/research are unique. I bridge both worlds and am passionate about being a leader within the profession.
