Inspiring Conversations with Dr. Nicole Catrambone Schaffer And Dr. Rachel Rosvold of Uplift Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Nicole Catrambone Schaffer And Dr. Rachel Rosvold.

Hi Dr. Nicole Catrambone Schaffer and, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Dr. Rachel and I, Dr. Nicole, started Uplift with the goal of providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We had been practicing Physical Therapists for over 15 years and knew we could provide our patients with the level of care we believe they truly deserve.

We are passionate about pelvic health and love helping our patients heal, regain confidence, and get back to doing the things they love.

We initially started Uplift by providing home visits, but as our practice grew, we quickly realized that having a dedicated office space would allow us to better serve our patients. Today, we are proud to have a beautiful office in Horsham where pelvic health is our sole focus.

We are incredibly passionate about what we do and feel fortunate to create a space where patients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business with young children is not for the faint of heart! We both have two young children, so taking on the challenge of starting a practice while balancing our careers and family responsibilities was definitely not easy.

There were a lot of unknowns and plenty of moments when things felt overwhelming. Throughout the journey, though, we have been each other’s biggest support system. We were able to lean on each other, encourage each other, and remind one another why we started Uplift in the first place.

Looking back, those challenges have made us stronger as business owners and as clinicians. They taught us to be flexible, persevere through uncertainty, and trust in our vision. Most importantly, they reinforced how much we believe in what we are building and the care we are able to provide to our patients.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Dr. Nicole’s favorite childhood memory was hiking and going on adventures with my family when I wasn’t competing in gymnastics.

Dr. Rachel’s favorite childhood memories include her time as a member of Dairy Cow 4H, crew, and hanging with her family.
