Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Dees.

Hi Charles, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Peace of Time Wellness was formed to integrate holistic healing. It was founded on the understanding that the mind and body are more integrated than previously thought. Using research-based interventions, Peace of Time offers several service lines that can be used separately, or integrated according to the needs of the client. Integrated workshops are offered throughout the year which are used to educate as well as generate change with the understanding of the mind-body connection.
All of our services are trauma-informed and many of our modalities are centered around trauma-healing and stress management. Our approach is focused around the experience of life, learning about how we are impacted by events and being educated on options for change through education and self empowerment throughout the span of life.
Peace of Time also believes in social responsibility. As part of who we are, we offer education, advocacy, and community service throughout the year both supporting local organizations and residents of the community.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a relatively smooth road with the challenges of starting a practice and continuing to keep it running during the pandemic. Moving the practice into a new space in 2021 and renovating during Covid was quite the challenge but worth the it in the end to have more space. Over the past two years we have brought in new providers to bring new modalities to both the practice and the community including adding more mental health therapists, additional massage therapist, trauma-informed tattooing and a health and life coach.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Peace of Time Wellness?
At Peace of Time Wellness, we recognize that the health of a human being is a dynamic and complex system that can be affected by experiences in life. Our mission is to support overall wellness by providing research based services that support emotional and physical health, while also encouraging clients to take ownership of their well-being for a sustainable change. I personally specialize in the massage therapy with a focus in trauma healing with anxiety, PTSD, and depression. I utilize modalities like neural reset therapy, myofascial release, and Somatic Experiencing to help clients on their healing journey.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Word of mouth has always been the best form of marketing over the years. We also do a lot of community events for local businesses to give back to the community with classes and chair massage.
