Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Gingrich.
Hi Bre, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have always had a draw towards the natural beauty around us. I also love to be creative, and floral design was something that had piqued my interest as it combines two things that I am passionate about. I had previously worked for a flower boutique and wedding floral designer in Montana and it opened my eyes to the world of florals, the joy they can bring, and the creative outlet that it is. My husband is originally from the Lancaster, PA area and in 2025 we had packed our things from the little mountain town where we met, and moved to Pennsylvania to be near his family. After settling here, I began looking for opportunities in floral design, but I also began to wonder if I could create something that is my own. Admittedly, I had nerves about starting a business in a new area and not knowing many people but I felt there was an opportunity with a family member’s flower farm and the many other growers in the area. It still felt like a huge leap of faith but I wanted to push myself to try new things! As I started offering my services It was incredible to see the kind of support that small businesses receive in this area, especially through word of mouth. I’ve been amazed by how much my business has grown within this year through simply showing up, sharing what I love to do and chatting with the community around me that has slowly helped my business grow. I’ve been able to surpass some of the goals I had set for myself and designed multiple wedding florals this season and build relationships with clients who have booked for next wedding season.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With any new venture, there have been some challenges along the way. My husband has been a huge support as we’ve learned everything from setting up and registering a business to creating onboarding tools and developing the different packages I offer for my flower services. Since this is a new industry and business I walked into, there have been many lessons along the way and finding a flower community to bounce questions off of as we support each other. I’ve learned that sometimes events don’t always go exactly as planned and that finding your niche in the industry takes time, experimenting, and the willingness to try new things. I’ve learned that each obstacle is an opportunity to learn and grow. I am so grateful for the support I have around me throughout this journey.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I grew up in the Canadian Rockies and moved to the United States five years ago! From growing up in another country and living in Northwest Montana before settling on the East Coast, I feel it has given me a unique and fun perspective I bring to my work. I’m a firm believer of looking for the opportunities wherever you are and dreaming big, I never would’ve imagined the path life would take me on but I’m incredibly grateful for all the experiences that have shaped me! They’ve allowed me to see so much beauty in different places and made me value the journey along the way.
