Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Castillo Sarpong.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey is a story of faith, perseverance, growth, and discovering my purpose. I was raised by immigrant parents who taught me the importance of hard work, determination, and creating opportunities, even when the odds are against you. Growing up as the daughter of immigrants, I witnessed firsthand the sacrifices my parents made to build a better future for our family. Their journey taught me that nothing comes easy, but with faith, dedication, and perseverance, so much is possible. Those values have stayed with me throughout my life and continue to shape the woman I am today. Over the past eight years, I’ve built my career in sales, logistics, business development, and client relationship management. Along the way, I discovered that my passion goes beyond business. I genuinely love helping people, bringing ideas to life, organizing projects, and supporting others in achieving their goals. One of my proudest accomplishments was earning my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. As the first woman in my family to earn a bachelor’s degree, this milestone meant so much more than receiving a diploma. It represented years of sacrifice, prayers, challenges, and moments when I questioned whether I could actually do it. Coming from an immigrant family, I understood the significance of this accomplishment, not just for myself but for the generations that came before me and those who will come after me. It reminded me that perseverance and faith can open doors I once thought were out of reach.
My experiences in the corporate world, entrepreneurship, and serving in church leadership inspired me to build Dignity Crown, a business focused on virtual assistance, administrative support, and event coordination whenever I am not working full-time. My mission is simple: to help business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations turn their visions into reality while taking the stress of managing the details off their shoulders. I understand what it means to have a dream, work hard for it, and sometimes need someone in your corner to help bring everything together. Today, I continue to grow as a professional, entrepreneur, and woman of faith. I’m proud of my family’s journey, the sacrifices my parents made, and the opportunities I’ve been blessed to experience.
My story is still being written by God, the author and finisher of my faith. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every experience, challenge, and opportunity has helped prepare me for where I am today and the woman I am still becoming and yet to discover.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has definitely not been a smooth road, but I believe every challenge has played a role in shaping the woman of faith I am today. One of my biggest struggles has been learning to believe in myself, especially during seasons when I questioned my abilities and whether I was capable of accomplishing certain goals. Balancing a full-time corporate career, pursuing my education, serving in ministry, building a business, and managing personal responsibilities has not always been an easy road. There have been moments of exhaustion, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Being the first woman in my family to earn a bachelor’s degree was a major accomplishment, but getting there required discipline, sacrifice, and perseverance. There were times when I questioned whether I could finish, but having mentors and people who believed in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself, made a tremendous difference. Another challenge has been learning that growth requires stepping outside my comfort zone. Working in sales and business development has taught me how to handle rejection, build confidence, and remain consistent even when the results are not immediate. Entrepreneurship has also taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of trusting the process. Through it all, my faith in Jesus Christ has been my foundation. I’ve learned that success isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about showing up everyday, remaining teachable, and continuing to move forward even when the journey becomes hard. If there’s one thing I would tell anyone reading my story, it’s this: Don’t allow your current circumstances to convince you that your dreams are out of alignment; just start today. Your journey may look different from someone else’s, but that doesn’t make it any less meaningful.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Dignity Crown?
Dignity Crown was created from my passion for helping people, bringing visions to life, and making everyday responsibilities easier for business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations. I have always been someone who enjoys organizing, coordinating, problem-solving, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. Over time, I realized that the skills I developed throughout my corporate career and leadership experiences could be used to help others grow and succeed. At Dignity Crown, we specialize in virtual assistance, administrative support, business coordination, and event planning and management. Our services include calendar and email management, appointment scheduling, meeting coordination, social media content scheduling, travel arrangements, project coordination, and day-to-day administrative support. We also assist with planning and coordinating events, from intimate gatherings and celebrations to weddings, conferences, and organizational events. What sets Dignity Crown apart is our personalized approach. I understand that every client has a different vision, personality, and set of needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand each client’s goals and provide support that allows them to focus on what they do best. With over eight years of experience in sales, logistics, business development, and client relationship management, I bring more than administrative skills to the table. I bring organization, communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with clients. Knowing that someone feels comfortable entrusting their business, projects, or special events in my care is something I never take lightly. To me, it’s not just about completing a task or checking something off a list. It’s about building meaningful relationships, providing peace of mind, and delivering a level of service that makes people feel supported and valued. My experience serving in church leadership and coordinating ministry events has also played a significant role in shaping my business. From managing schedules and coordinating groups to organizing travel, meetings, and events, those experiences have strengthened my passion for serving others with excellence.
