Hi OLGA, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey in the insurance industry began more than 23 years ago. Throughout my career, I gained valuable experience helping individuals and families understand their coverage and make informed decisions. Over time, I realized that many people—especially in the Hispanic community—needed more personalized guidance in both English and Spanish.
After an unexpected career transition, I decided to turn that challenge into an opportunity and pursue my dream of entrepreneurship. I founded OA Professional Services LLC to create an independent agency where clients could receive honest guidance, personal attention, and access to multiple insurance options under one roof.
Building a new business has required perseverance, faith, and a willingness to keep learning. Today, I am proud to serve my community through insurance, Medicare and Marketplace assistance, life insurance, accounting, and notary services. I am also building a team and continuing to expand the agency into new states and markets. My goal is not simply to sell a product—it is to educate, support, and build lasting relationships with every person we serve.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road. After experiencing an unexpected career transition, I had to decide whether to look for another position or take a chance on myself and build something of my own. Starting an independent agency from the ground up meant learning every aspect of running a business—from licensing and carrier appointments to marketing, technology, compliance, and building a client base.
One of the greatest challenges has been having the patience to grow while managing many responsibilities at once. There have been delays, rejections, and moments of uncertainty, but each challenge has made me more determined and resourceful. My faith, professional experience, and desire to serve my community have helped me continue moving forward. I have learned that success is not about having a perfect journey; it is about remaining committed to your purpose, adapting, and refusing to give up.

OA Professional Services LLC is an independent, bilingual agency created to help individuals, families, and small-business owners make informed decisions with confidence. We offer personal and commercial insurance, including auto, homeowners, renters, business, Medicare, Marketplace health, life, and pet insurance. We also provide accounting and notary services, allowing our clients to access several essential professional services in one trusted place.
What sets us apart is our personal and educational approach. Insurance and financial services can feel overwhelming, especially when language becomes a barrier. We take the time to listen, explain the available options in English or Spanish, and help each client find solutions that fit their individual needs and budget. As an independent agency, we can work with multiple companies instead of offering only one carrier’s products.
I am most proud that the OA Professional Services brand represents trust, accessibility, and genuine care for our community. Our clients are never treated like policy numbers. We focus on building lasting relationships and being available when they have questions, experience changes in their lives, or need help understanding their coverage.
I want readers to know that our purpose extends beyond selling insurance or completing a transaction. We are here to educate, advocate, and help people protect what they have worked hard to build. What’s next?
My plans for the future are centered on growing and creating a lasting impact. I am working to expand the agency into additional counties and offering services to other states, strengthen our relationships with insurance carriers, and provide clients with even more coverage options.
I also look forward to growing and developing a team of knowledgeable, compassionate agents who share my commitment to education and personalized service. An important part of that vision is creating professional opportunities for bilingual individuals and preparing them to serve diverse communities with confidence and integrity.
As the agency grows, I plan to offer more educational workshops and community events focused on insurance, Medicare, financial protection, and small-business resources. I also want to continue improving our technology so clients can receive convenient service without losing the personal connection that makes our agency special.
Ultimately, my goal is to build OA Professional Services into a trusted, multistate agency that creates opportunities for others while helping more families and businesses protect their futures. I am excited about how far we have come, but I believe this is only the beginning.
