Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Geiser.
Hi Heather, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey to where I am today really began through illness.
For a long time, I was living what probably looked like a fairly normal life from the outside. I was working, raising a family, being a wife, and managing all of the responsibilities that come with everyday life. But eventually, my body began telling me that something needed to change.
I became very sick and spent years navigating a complicated health journey. I was dealing with Lyme disease and other infections, significant physical symptoms, and a body that simply wasn’t responding in the way I expected it to. There were periods when I felt like I was searching for answers and trying to understand what my body was asking of me. Conventional medicine was a part of my journey, but I also began exploring other approaches to healing and started paying attention to the connection between the body, mind, emotions, energy, and spirit.
That experience changed me.
As I began to heal, I also began to awaken to a part of myself that had always been there but that I had never fully understood. I discovered that I had a deep intuitive nature and an ability to sense and work with energy. What initially began as something I was exploring for myself slowly became something I felt called to share with others.
That was the beginning of Mindfully Aligned.
What started as a personal healing journey eventually grew into a business and, more importantly, a community. I began offering energy work and intuitive sessions and eventually expanded into yoga, breathwork, meditation, women’s circles, ceremonies, workshops, and spiritual education. Each offering came from something I had personally experienced or something I felt was missing in the traditional ways we often approach healing.
Over the years, my own path continued to deepen. I studied energy medicine, sacred feminine traditions, archetypes, ceremonial practices, meditation, yoga, and the wisdom of the natural world. I participated in spiritual trainings and initiations that challenged me to continue looking inward and expanding my understanding of what healing and transformation can look like.
Eventually, I realized that I wasn’t simply meant to practice the modalities I had learned. I was being called to create something of my own.
That realization led me to develop Mani Omnia™, my own approach to embodied energy medicine and intuitive practice. The name means “Hands of All Things,” and it reflects the philosophy at the heart of my work: that our hands, our bodies, our intuition, and our presence can become instruments for connection, awareness, and healing.
Today, Mindfully Aligned is much more than the business I opened years ago. It has become a space for people to reconnect with themselves, explore their own inner wisdom, and move through transformation in a way that feels authentic to them. I offer individual sessions, yoga and movement, breathwork, circles, ceremonies, workshops, and professional training.
When I look back, I can see that becoming sick was not something I would have chosen, but it became one of the greatest turning points of my life. It forced me to slow down, listen differently, question what I had been taught, and ultimately discover a part of myself I may never have found otherwise.
I didn’t set out to build Mindfully Aligned. I was simply trying to find my way back to myself.
And somewhere along that journey, I realized that the path I was walking could become a path I helped illuminate for others.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has absolutely not been a smooth road, and honestly, I don’t think I would want it to have been.
Some of my greatest struggles have come from learning to trust myself. When you are creating something that doesn’t fit neatly into an existing box, there can be a lot of uncertainty. There have been times when I questioned whether I was on the right path, whether people would understand what I was creating, and whether I was capable of building something sustainable from a calling that felt so deeply personal.
My health journey was also a major part of that struggle. Being sick changed my life in ways I never anticipated, and healing was not linear. There were times when I felt frustrated, exhausted, and discouraged by not having clear answers. Learning to listen to my body and trust my own experience became one of the hardest and most important lessons of my life.
Building a business has brought its own challenges. I have had to learn how to balance being a mother, wife, business owner, practitioner, teacher, and simply a human being who also needs rest and space. There have been seasons where I tried to do too much, said yes when I really needed to say no, and measured my success by how much I could accomplish rather than by how aligned I actually felt.
I’ve also had to let go of things that once felt like they were supposed to be part of my path. As Mindfully Aligned has evolved, so have I. Some offerings, relationships, ideas, and even identities have had to fall away to make room for what feels more authentic now. That process can be uncomfortable because there is often a temptation to hold onto something simply because you’ve already invested so much into it.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that evolution isn’t failure.
Sometimes the thing you built five years ago served exactly the person you were five years ago. It doesn’t mean you have to stay there forever.
There have definitely been moments when I wondered if I should make things simpler, go back to something more conventional, or stop trying to create something so uniquely my own. But each time, I came back to the same knowing: this work is not about following someone else’s blueprint. It’s about having the courage to follow my own.
So no, it hasn’t been a smooth road. It has been messy, humbling, beautiful, frustrating, expansive, and deeply transformative.
And I think that is exactly why I can hold space for other people who are walking through their own uncertainty. I don’t teach from a place of having everything figured out. I teach from having walked through my own becoming.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Mindfully Aligned?
Mindfully Aligned is a holistic wellness and spiritual education practice rooted in the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you are.
I founded Mindfully Aligned after my own journey through illness and healing, and that personal experience continues to shape everything I offer. What began with energy work and intuitive sessions has evolved into a multidimensional practice that brings together embodied energy medicine, yoga, breathwork, meditation, intuitive work, sacred ceremony, women’s circles, workshops, and spiritual education.
At the heart of Mindfully Aligned is the belief that the body, mind, emotions, energy, and spirit are interconnected. Rather than treating these as separate parts of ourselves, I create experiences that invite people to explore the whole person. My work is about creating a safe and sacred space where people can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, listen to their intuition, and develop a deeper relationship with themselves.
I am also passionate about helping people move from simply receiving healing to understanding their own capacity for healing and transformation. That is why education has become such an important part of my work. Through classes, workshops, circles, and longer-term training, I want people to leave with practices and awareness they can actually integrate into their lives.
One of the things that sets Mindfully Aligned apart is that I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to spirituality or wellness. I draw from many years of study and personal experience, but I encourage people to develop their own relationship with these practices rather than simply adopting someone else’s beliefs. My approach is intuitive, embodied, ceremonial, and deeply personal.
That philosophy has also led me to create Mani Omnia™, an embodied energy medicine certification and training program. Rather than continuing to operate within a framework that no longer fully represented my work, I felt called to create a methodology that reflected what I had learned through years of practice, study, and experience. Mani Omnia™ is a natural evolution of that work and represents one of the areas I am most proud of professionally.
Brand-wise, I am most proud that Mindfully Aligned has remained authentic to its original purpose while continuing to evolve. I never wanted to build a brand that simply sold wellness services. I wanted to create a space where people felt seen, supported, challenged, and empowered to participate in their own transformation.
Today, Mindfully Aligned includes individual healing sessions, yoga and movement, breathwork, meditation, women’s circles, sacred ceremonies, seasonal workshops, spiritual education, and professional training. There is also an apothecary component that allows people to bring some of these practices into their own homes.
Ultimately, I want readers to know that Mindfully Aligned is a place for people who are ready to go deeper. It is for the person who knows there is more to their wellbeing than simply managing symptoms or checking things off a self-care list. It is a place to explore the deeper layers of who we are, reconnect with our intuition, and create a more conscious relationship with our lives.
What I am building is not just a business. It is a body of work, a community, and a legacy that continues to evolve as I do.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is connection. Connection to myself, to the people I love, to my community, to the natural world, and to something greater than myself.
My own journey has taught me that it is very easy to become disconnected from who we are when we are constantly moving, achieving, caring for others, and trying to meet the expectations placed on us. I know what it feels like to lose that connection, and I also know what it feels like to slowly find your way back.
That is why creating spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down, be honest, and reconnect with themselves matters so much to me.
I care deeply about authenticity. I don’t want to build a life or a business based on what I think I am supposed to be doing. I want to have the courage to listen inwardly, evolve, and allow my path to change when it needs to. That has not always been easy, but it has become one of the most important lessons of my life.
I also care deeply about the people I serve. I don’t measure success simply by numbers or accomplishments. I measure it by the lives I have been able to touch, the person who walks into my space feeling disconnected and leaves feeling a little more whole, the woman who learns to trust her intuition, or the student who realizes she has the capacity to create change in her own life.
And, of course, my family and the people I love matter enormously to me. They keep me grounded and remind me that all of the spiritual work, personal growth, and business building ultimately has to come back to how we live and love in our everyday lives.
Ultimately, what matters most to me is living a life that feels aligned. A life where my work has meaning, my relationships are real, my growth continues, and what I give to the world comes from a place of truth rather than performance.
If anything is going to be my legacy, I hope it is that I helped people remember their own light, their own wisdom, and their own capacity to come home to themselves.
