Hidden Gems: Meet Charlene Rose of Beauty by Char LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlene Rose.

Hi Charlene , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Charlene Rose and I have been a nurse for 13 years.
Before diving into aesthetics and functional medicine 3 years ago, my core foundation of nursing was cardiac care and home health.
I started aesthetics as a “fun” job and honestly because I just wanted to learn more about how to take care of my own skin, and age in reverse. I never knew I would fall in love with it and create a career out of it.
In a few short years I have quit my corporate job and opened my business full time, giving me the ability and freedom to raise my two children how I want to, all while working a job that helps people look and feel their best!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It is always a struggle learning something new in the medical industry. It’s definitely not something you can learn overnight and there are a lot of risks with the things that I offer, which is why I went the extra mile to get a board certification through the American academy of procedural medicine.
I wanted to know all the ins and outs of aesthetics and functional medicine, what can go wrong and how I can fix it.

We’ve been impressed with Beauty by Char LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I offer aesthetics such as botox and fillers but I also do skin consultations, peels and education only appointments to help people understand their skin and their skin issues and how to treat them.
I am also certified in functional medicine and peptides which is a more holistic approach to treating patients.
I have helped people lose weight, regulate their hormones and balance their skin issues.
What sets me apart most is that I am the only practitioner in my practice. I see every single one of my patients. I take my time to educate and explain things so that you are comfortable, and there is never any pressure to purchase anything.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
It makes me happy helping other people feel good about themselves.
I have struggled with my weight my whole life, I remember what it was like not being happy in my own skin. So being able to give that to someone else is very fulfilling
