Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracey Secoli.
Hi Tracey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story has had a lot of different chapters, and I truly believe each one helped lead me to where I am today. I started my career in the beauty industry as a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, working with women and helping them feel confident and beautiful. Later, my career took a completely different direction, and I spent many years working in the criminal justice system.
After years of working for others, I reached a point in my life where I wanted to create something of my own. I’ve always loved beauty, fashion, home décor, shopping, and finding great products, so I began building Cozy Boutique Club, an online lifestyle and shopping community where I could share the things I genuinely love.
The name and meaning behind my business are also very personal to me. Cozy Haven was inspired by my best friend, whom I lost to breast cancer. Her memory is an important part of why I want what I build to eventually be about more than simply earning an income. One of my goals is to be able to give back and help others as the business grows.
More recently, my family has faced additional challenges, including two of my sisters going through breast cancer and double mastectomies. Being there for my family while trying to reinvent myself professionally has not always been easy, but it has made me even more determined to build something meaningful and sustainable.
Today, I’m growing Cozy Boutique Club across social media and learning everything I can about content creation, affiliate marketing, UGC, brand partnerships, and digital marketing. I’m building it from the ground up, and I’m still very much in the growth stage. My goal is to turn the community I’m creating into a successful business, work directly with brands I believe in, and eventually use that success to give back.
At this stage of my life, I’m proving to myself that it is never too late to start over, learn something completely new, and create a new chapter for yourself. I’m excited to see where this one takes me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I’ve had to reinvent myself more than once throughout my life. I’ve worked in the beauty industry, spent many years in the court system, and eventually found myself starting over and building something of my own.
Along the way, I’ve faced financial challenges, personal loss, and family responsibilities that sometimes required me to put my own plans on hold. There have been times when it would have been much easier to give up, especially while trying to learn the constantly changing world of social media, digital marketing, websites, affiliate marketing, and content creation largely on my own.
Building Cozy Boutique Club has involved a lot of trial and error. I’ve made mistakes, had things not work the way I expected, and had plenty of moments when I questioned whether I was doing the right thing. But every setback has taught me something.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that starting over doesn’t have an age limit. I’m still learning, still building, and still believing that something meaningful can come from all of it. The challenges have actually made me more determined to create a business and community that I’m proud of and, hopefully, inspire other women who may be starting over too.

Cozy Haven Boutique LLC, operating publicly as Cozy Boutique Club, is a growing online lifestyle and shopping brand with its own website, cozyboutique.club. I focus on beauty, fashion, home, wellness, and affordable everyday finds. With my background as a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, I bring years of beauty and customer experience into the creator space. I primarily create and share content through Pinterest and my Amazon Storefront, while also working with affiliate networks such as Awin and other brand partners. I’m continuing to expand Cozy Boutique Club across social media while building relationships with brands and creating content that feels genuine, useful, and relatable. My goal is to grow Cozy Boutique Club into a trusted online community and recognizable brand while eventually using its success to give back to causes that are close to my heart.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
When I think about Cozy Boutique Club and where some of that dream began, I always come back to memories of my best friend, April, and me in high school. We went to Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill, and every once in a while we would cut class—which is certainly nothing I’m proud of!—and wander through Squirrel Hill, which at the time was filled with wonderful little boutique shops.
We loved looking at the clothes and shopping together, and April always loved how I would help pick out clothes and put outfits together for her. She would tell me, “You should open a boutique someday.” At the time, we were just two teenage girls having fun. I never imagined how much those words would mean to me later in life.
The funny thing is, April was incredibly creative herself. While we were still in high school, she worked as a cake decorator for Smith’s Bakery. She had such a natural talent for making things beautiful, but even more than that, she had a beautiful heart. April was one of the best people I have ever known. She loved unconditionally.
Sadly, I lost April to breast cancer. She left behind a beautiful legacy through her four children and so many wonderful memories for everyone who was fortunate enough to know and love her.
Looking back now, I realize those two high school girls walking through the little boutique shops of Squirrel Hill were dreaming about the future without even knowing it. April saw something in me all those years ago that I’m finally bringing to life today.
Cozy Boutique Club is about more than shopping. For me, it is also about creating something meaningful, finding beauty in everyday life, following the dreams that stay in your heart, and always keeping the memories of the people we love close to us.
