Hi Basil, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Brothers Kershner Brewing Co. opened in July 2018 in Skippack Village Pennsylvania by Basil & Kevin Kershner. Shortly thereafter they brought a little taste of the brewery back to their Chester County roots opening Brothers on the Brandywine-Beer Garden. What started out as a pop-up for there mobile beer bar ‘BroGo’ has morphed into an oasis hidden gem along the banks of the Brandywine Creek. A creekside craft beer bar, wine-cider-seltzer bar, snack shake, full stage for live entertainment, covered tent area, all in a beautiful scenic park on the grounds of the Brandywine Outfitters. Plenty of seating, live music, libations, food trucks and various pop-up events throughout the year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Keeping plenty of cold draft on tap at an all day outside event can be challenging. But after upgrading the power source in the park we were able to upgrade our cold storage.
Parking, especially on our busier event days can be challenging, but we’ve upgraded the parking area, as well as added numerous parking nooks to accommodate the larger crowds.

Brothers Kershner Brewing Co. is located in the heart of Skippack Village, PA. We are a family owned and operated craft brewery focused on making a wide variety of beverages with the utmost quality! In 2021 we brought a taste of the brewery back to our roots in southeast PA and opened Chester County’s best kept secret Brothers on the Brandywine-Beer Garden. Open seasonally every Sunday, April through October, nestled along the scenic Brandywine Creek. We offer beer, wine, seltzer, ciders, NA options, along with rotating live music and food trucks.
