Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Horst.
Paige, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I quit my job of 5 years in September of 2025. I spent time looking for a new job, but realized I didn’t want to spend my time working a job that i wasn’t passionate about. So I decided it was time to set my dreams in motion and so I got to work on opening my coffee trailer. It took longer than anticipated and a lot of patience but we finally opened in May of 2026.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. So many setbacks! The trailer build not working the way we anticipated, our permit application getting lost in the system, opening date kept getting moved further and further away. Then during our opening week, I lost a dearly loved family member and had to close down on what was supposed to be our 3rd day open. On the same day, I lost all of my prepared inventory that was in the trailer. So many crazy equipment malfunctions, and trailer issues. I almost cut off my finger (literally) with a power drill while working on the trailer. It has been a crazy ride! But through it all, the Lord has been good and has seen us through every trial and every hardship, and brought us out the other side stronger and trusting more in Him.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I own a mobile coffee trailer. We set up at different locations and businesses, mostly in Greencastle and Chambersburg right now. (more locations coming soon!) We also book private events! We offer high quality coffee roasted in Lancaster, and local dairy from Deliteful Dairy in Williamsport. All of our syrups are housemade and unique, made with organic and/or natural ingredients. We pride ourselves on using high quality ingredients from beginning to end.
What are your plans for the future?
We want to continue to grow this business, hopefully getting into some more markets and festivals, as well as booking more private events. We are working on getting permitted to set up in some new areas (more info on that coming soon!) and one day, we hope to turn our little coffee trailer dream into a coffee shop.
