Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Clickit Studio was born through a long friendship. Our wedding photographer and close friend opened a very similar studio in Dallas and encouraged us to bring the same idea to State College. He guided us through the process and supported us every step of the way.
Today, we are excited to have successfully launched Clickit Studio in State College, welcoming everyone who wants professional-quality photos without feeling awkward, intimidated, or insecure in front of the camera. We created a fun, relaxed atmosphere with a fast turnaround, making the experience enjoyable and stress-free.
Our studio offers a fresh and innovative approach that is very different from traditional photography studios. Instead of a photographer directing every shot, our setup works more like a self-photo booth — giving you privacy, freedom, and comfort — while still delivering professional-quality results.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the hardest parts of this business is getting recognized within the State College community and attracting new clients. Since professional photography is not always seen as a basic necessity, we work especially hard to make every client happy and leave them impressed with both the experience and the high quality of their photos. Our goal is not just to provide pictures, but to create memories, boost confidence, and give people an experience they truly enjoy and want to share with others.

At Clickit Studio, we specialize in self-photo studio experiences that combine the fun and privacy of a photo booth with the quality of a professional photography studio. We are known for creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where people can take beautiful, high-quality photos without feeling awkward, intimidated, or insecure in front of the camera.
What makes us different is that our clients are in control of their own sessions. Instead of having a photographer standing over them, they can freely pose, laugh, be creative, and truly enjoy the experience at their own pace. This helps people feel more natural and confident, which leads to more genuine and memorable photos.

What are your plans for the future?
Our biggest goal for the future is to continue growing within the State College community and become the go-to place for fun, professional, and stress-free photography experiences. We want more people to discover that taking professional photos does not have to feel intimidating or complicated.
We are looking forward to expanding our studio experience by introducing new seasonal sets, creative themes, and special events that give our clients fresh and exciting ways to capture memories throughout the year. We also hope to collaborate more with local businesses, student organizations, and community events to make photography more accessible and engaging for everyone.
One thing we are especially excited about is the possibility of partnering with Penn State University to serve faculty, staff, students, and anyone in the community who could benefit from our services. We believe our studio can provide a unique and welcoming space for professional headshots, graduation photos, team photos, personal branding, and special memories.
