Jamie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Center Cut Deli was born from a passion for quality and a desire to serve the Beaver County community. The initial dream of opening a specialized deli, offering delicious sandwiches with both quantity and quality, predated the pandemic. While the perfect location remained elusive at first, fate intervened shortly after the onset of COVID-19 when an ideal spot became available. Seizing the opportunity, my husband and I decided to move forward, building Center Cut Deli from the ground up to bring Pittsburgh-quality sandwiches closer to home.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business is rarely a smooth road; it was often a journey filled with unforeseen challenges and learning curves. We faced hurdles ranging from navigating unexpected market shifts and adapting to evolving customer needs. Operational struggles, supply chain issues, and the sheer volume of work involved, were very challenging at times.. Ultimately, resilience and adaptability become key in overcoming these obstacles and growing the business. It is a long hard struggle but worth it!
