Community Highlights: Meet Erin Banta of Mind Body Soul Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Banta.

Hi Erin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Ireland to two American parents, both Chiropractors and have dual citizenship since birth.
Three weeks before my 23rd birthday in 2006, I moved State side. I married later that year and five years later our son was born. Not long after that we divorced.

I remarried 3 years later to my second husband and had three daughters. I stayed at home, raised the girls and helped my husband run the businesses for twelve years.

In 2023 we separated. After putting myself on the back burner for over 10 years I had to sit down for the first time and figure out what direction to go in career-wise. I wanted to find a career that meant something, that helped people and made a difference in their lives.

I began my career in Reiki and sound healing in 2024. As well as seeing private clients, I began working in the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA that same year doing Reiki and sound healing for cancer clients and their caregivers. In 2025 I began training in reflexology and in 2026 began offering that service at the Cancer Wellness Center also.

In 2025 and 2026 I wrote 3 self-help books available on Amazon.

My children are my biggest motivation to continue my education and expand my career. As a single, full-time mother rebuilding my entire life has been difficult, stressful, exciting, rewarding and a journey full of tears, laughter and a whole lot of love.

Come fall of this year I will be pursuing a certificate in welding in LCCC.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Navigating divorce, endless custody battles, raising kiddos as a single mom all while furthering my career, has been a rollercoaster ride. But I wouldn’t change a thing. I have learned so much on this journey.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I offer Reiki, sound healing and Reflexology sessions to private clients as well as clients at the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA.

I specialize in combining Reiki and vibrational sound using tuning forks on specific parts of the body in the sessions I offer.
My sessions offer a chance for relaxation, stress relief and nervous system reset among other benefits.

I also facilitate sound baths open to the public at local venues such as yoga studios, local colleges and businesses.
I also facilitate private sound baths for corporate businesses.

Sound baths consist of crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, pipes, crystal pyramids and more. The soothing frequencies wash over participants laying on yoga mats and help de stress the nervous system and relax the mind.

How do you define success?
I define success in two ways. The first is by how much I love what I do. And I really love what I do!
The second is seeing that I actually make a difference in the quality of peoples lives.
So long as they both continue, then I consider that success.
