Check Out Richard Pastorella’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Pastorella.

Hi Richard, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
About 35 years ago I had a martial arts training injury that flared up a lifelong problem with asthma. It took me from a competitive martial arts champion to debilitated that I couldn’t even work. This problem didn’t respond well to conventional Healthcare. Fortunately, because of my background in Martial arts I was aware that there was more. This began my journey in to the world of natural health. My experience in this journey to heal myself is what gave me the tools to develop the Pastorella Health Center, where we combine 21st century fitness technology with ancient healing Wisdom. We work with chronic muscular pain, weightloss and stress. I am also the first Tai-Chi instructor (along with my teacher Larry Eshelman) to get Dr. Prescriptions to use Tai-Chi as an adjuctive therapy to help people with chronic health challenges.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Multiple setbacks with health issues that always helped me to improve my health and fitness system.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What sets me apart is my journey through multiple martial arts and natural health systems as I strive to restore my own health. This broad background gives me an advantage in helping my students overcome unique health and fitness challenges.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice is a timeless strategy. Find someone that was successful in creating the outcome that you want to accomplish.
