Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Smith.
Jason, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was working a warehouse job back in 2022 when I decided I was sick of working for people who treated us like we were just a number. No insurance, no vacation days, no respect, and little pay. That’s no way for anyone to live. I grew up with a mom who I always looked to and who was always very clean, organized, and orderly. And so naturally, so was I. Cleaning and Organizing became a hobby to me at a young age and became a passion of mine over time. So I decided why not turn that passion, into my own business. So I did exactly that. Molly Pitcher Cleaning Service was formed, my wife left her job a year and a half later to work with me and become my partner full time, and we have grown exponentially since then adding on both customer’s and employees who enjoy our passion, reliability, and thorough cleaning style. We even added the addition of a small store in downtown Carlisle that sells cleaning products and supplies and is located at 55 S Pitt Street.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not. I learned that cleaning my own house, and cleaning professionally are two totally different things. The learning curve of what products and supplies to use, long hours, building a customer base that trusts you and holding to their standard, running a business in general with absolutely no background in running a business.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We specialize in Deep Cleans and Maintenance Cleans. We grew in popularity due to our super thorough style of deep cleans, and the way we maintain the houses that we take care of after the deep cleans are performed. Our deep cleans offer a full floor to ceiling cleaning of your house from dusting, surface scrubbing, to window cleaning, to baseboard scrubbing, to appliance cleaning, we clean absolutely everything! You can then choose to get on our Maintenance Cleaning schedule which is typically a bi weekly, or a monthly cleaning to guarantee that your house is kept clean and beautiful through out every season. We are extremely proud to offer our customers a house cleaning experience and care package that most companies don’t offer, at an affordable price. We clean in places most companies won’t, we don’t believe in wiping or sweeping around things, and we aren’t light on the products that we use ensuring the most thorough and beautiful cleanings possible.

Honoring your true self, experiencing life to its fullest with the people you love the most, creating a sense of community, and just finding joy in the work that you do no matter what it is.
