Check Out Irron Williamson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Irron Williamson.

Hi Irron, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Irron Williamson, I’m a visual artist / event curator from. West Philadelphia. I’ve been doing art since I could remember. My grandmother always encouraged me to do more art and my mother enrolled me in multiple art programs throughout my teenage years,

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve had to overcome many challenges as other up and coming artists also have to deal with. One struggle that I can remember was trying to find a college for art. I didn’t receive any grants or scholarships so I had to change my options and go to the most affordable college. Despite that hardship I still continued to excel and create.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a visual artist. I paint , draw and I also have a clothing line In the works. I specialize in oil paintings and I believe that’s what I’m known best for. I’m most proud that I still continue to create and have a passion for art.
I believe my creative style sets me apart from others. In art sometimes you see similar styles or concepts so you have to be distinct.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe that my drive is my most important characteristic to my success. I have a strict and serious work ethic. But I do have fun creating. And I work best when I’m doing something I enjoy.
