Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Kovacs.
Hi Alexis, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been tattooing since 2000. I graduated Kutztown university in 2003. I opened electric cheetah tattoos and permanent cosmetics LLC in 2011.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I work in a male dominated industry which creates its own struggles. Otherwise it’s gone pretty smooth.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do traditional tattooing but also specialize in permanent cosmetics and medical tattooing. I am very proud to say that I work with plastic surgeons post procedure putting color where it is needed.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I had a great childhood. It was very happy and I have many special memories. I always loved when my dad would take me to fun places like the beach or sesame place.
