Check Out Joe Arlotta’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joe Arlotta.

Hi Joe, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story goes back to when I was a kid. My mother was a pianist. She went to college for Music, but then dropped out one of six kids growing up in Buffalo New York. My oldest sister took to the piano I took to sports.

When a child is learning the piano, the notes and scales come first . After that ,Beethoven Bach Mozart I heard those growing up subconsciously in my brain little did I know it would prepare me for my 20s and my music journey .when sports were over in high school. I took the theater on a bet. Little did I know I would get the lead part in Westside story and begin my musical journey. I quickly took my musical voice that was layered in R&B harmonies to Orlando, Florida. I was determined to become a member in one of the next boy bands. That’s where I met Craig Collins and Randy Elmore. We became a Pop Music group in the 2000s . Things changed the business changed and we were hung out to dry. So I moved on tried to solo career. I created beautiful music with the late Devin Lima from LFO rest in peace, the R&B group city, high, and worked with Brian McKnight‘s guitar player hot sauce on my album. How do I describe myself when it comes to my artistry? I’m a white boy with R&B soul that sweats out my pores. My playlist consist of troop, shy Boyz II Men, Jodeci, new edition and need I say more. That is who I grew up listening to, and that is who I feel my influences come from when I sing to others. It was a time in Music, where you felt the music in your soul. Musicians in the R&B world would cry their songs, and you would feel it. From them,

I hear music differently . I hear chords that I can’t even name or pronounce. I hear harmonies that just develop in my brain and just sound right. Music connects for me ,through sound. For instance, when a note or cord or harmony is played, I can hear above and below those notes.. I can connect those notes and chords with other notes and chords, but on paper those notes and chords, I cannot read. It’s a gift for me being an artist of music. It just comes naturally!
Right now, my newfound passion is writing music. I’ve always been in front of people on stage, but now I sit alone on my own stage, creating songs in my mind with the stories and things that I’ve been through In my life and in other lives that I see!
I guess closing the story the last thing I want people to know about me is this;
I gave up music for 20 years and it wasn’t by my choice. In those 20 years, I had three beautiful children which are my life, and I provide for them. I’m also an example to them a following your path, no matter what that is or when it comes.. just be ready if that’s what you want and give it everything you got! Thank you so much for letting me share my story with you. Being from Buffalo, New York. We always end with a good old. GO BILLS!!! Joe Arlotya

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I start music for 20 years so I guess you could say that was a struggle. I ended up choosing to have a family instead of pursuing my gift of music. But I also learned how to be a businessman and boys is that gonna help me along this journey that I’m in..

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist of music. I’m an R&B singer with roots that go back to the 90s.. I’ve written over 130 songs in the short year that I have been back from my departure from the music industry. I specialize in writing make up breakup songs.. I also like to write emotional ballads. Songs that make the hair stand up on your neck right now I’m specializing in producing and digital creation.. also AI Music we are learning to stay ahead of the curve.

How do you think about luck?
I think good luck came to me 20 years ago in the people that I met in the music industry. I had a very close relationships that I am now calling on again 20 years later and they are right back on the phone waiting to help..
