Hi Sue , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The Story Behind The Timeless Capture Booth Co.
The Timeless Capture Booth Co. didn’t begin with a big business plan, a storefront, or a vision of becoming an entrepreneur. It began with something much more personal: a desire to create something of my own.
I had spent years working in sales, learning how to communicate with people, build relationships, understand what they needed, and, most importantly, listen. But somewhere along the way, I began asking myself a different question: What would happen if I took everything I had learned and built something that truly came from me?
I’ve always been drawn to celebrations. There is something special about watching people come together—families laughing, friends reconnecting, couples beginning a new chapter, children growing up, and communities celebrating milestones. Those moments can pass so quickly, but the memories can last forever.
That idea stayed with me.
When I began exploring the photo booth industry, I realized I wasn’t simply interested in renting out a machine. I wanted to create an experience.
I wanted someone to walk into an event and feel excited. I wanted a bride to look back at her wedding years later and still have those silly, beautiful photos with the people she loves most. I wanted families to have pictures they didn’t know they needed until they had them. I wanted guests who might have arrived as strangers to leave laughing together.
That became the heart of The Timeless Capture Booth Co.
Building a business has taught me that the glamorous part is only a small piece of entrepreneurship. Behind every event are countless hours of planning, learning, answering emails, marketing, investing, problem-solving, and sometimes wondering whether you’re doing enough.
There have absolutely been moments when I’ve questioned myself.
But I’ve learned that you don’t always need to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes you just need enough courage to take the first step—and enough faith to keep taking the next one.
As a mother and a business owner, I’ve also learned that success isn’t always measured by how quickly you grow. Sometimes success is looking at something you created and realizing, I built this.
That’s what The Timeless Capture Booth Co. represents to me.
It’s a business, but it’s also a reflection of my journey—a journey of taking my experience, creativity, determination, and love for people and turning them into something meaningful.
Today, when I see a guest laughing in front of one of our booths or a couple looking through their photos at the end of an event, I’m reminded of why I started.
Because photographs aren’t just photographs.
They’re pieces of time.
And time is one of the few things we can never get back.
If I can help someone hold onto one more beautiful moment with the people they love, then I know I’m doing something that matters.
The Timeless Capture Booth Co. is my way of helping people press pause on life—even if it’s only for a few seconds—and capture something they can keep forever.
And honestly, I think that’s the most beautiful part of the journey: I started this business hoping to create memories for other people, and somewhere along the way, I created a new chapter of my own.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. Starting a business takes much more than having a good idea—you have to believe in yourself even during the seasons when you question whether anyone else believes in you.
One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to build a brand and attract clients in such a competitive industry. There have been times when I’ve invested in marketing, reached out to potential clients, followed up, and still heard nothing back. Being ignored or not seeing the bookings come in can be discouraging, especially when you know how much heart, time, and effort you have poured into creating something special.
I’ve also had to learn the business side of entrepreneurship—pricing, marketing, contracts, customer service, branding, social media, and constantly finding ways to stand out while staying true to who I am.
But those challenges have taught me resilience. Every obstacle has pushed me to improve, learn, and keep going. I’ve realized that success isn’t always about how quickly you grow; sometimes it’s about having the courage to keep building when things aren’t happening as quickly as you hoped.
I’m still on this journey, and I’m proud of that. The challenges have become part of my story, and I believe they are shaping The Timeless Capture Booth Co. into something even more meaningful.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the owner and founder of The Timeless Capture Booth Co\., a luxury photo booth experience serving the Philadelphia and New Jersey area\. But before I became a business owner, I was—and still am—a homemaker and a mother to three beautiful, amazing children\. I have devoted so much of my life to raising my children, being present for them, and creating a loving home and strong foundation for my family\. Being a mother is one of my greatest accomplishments, and I wouldn’t trade that chapter of my life for anything\.
But as my children have grown, I began to realize that I wanted to create something for myself, too\. I wanted something that allowed me to discover my own talents, challenge myself, build confidence, and have an identity outside of being a mom\. That desire became the beginning of The Timeless Capture Booth Co\.
I specialize in creating elevated photo booth experiences for weddings, corporate events, graduations, bridal showers, and special celebrations\. But to me, this business is about so much more than taking pictures\. It’s about creating an experience where people can laugh, connect, celebrate, and capture moments they will cherish for years to come\.
What sets me apart is the heart I put into what I do\. I don’t want clients to feel like they are simply booking a photo booth company\. I want them to feel cared for\. I pay attention to the little details—from customized designs and beautiful backdrops to studio\-quality lighting and creating a fun, polished experience for every guest\.
I am especially proud that I stepped outside of my comfort zone and started building something of my own\. After spending years pouring my energy into my family, entrepreneurship has given me an opportunity to pour some of that same love, creativity, and dedication into myself\.
The journey has not always been easy\. There have been moments of doubt, challenges with marketing and finding clients, and times when I wondered if I was on the right path\. But every challenge has taught me resilience and reminded me that it is never too late to pursue something that sets your heart on fire\.
My goal is for The Timeless Capture Booth Co\. to become known not only for beautiful photographs, but for the feeling people experience when they step in front of the camera—the laughter, confidence, joy, and connection\.
For me, this business represents a new chapter\. I will always be a devoted mother and homemaker, but I’m also a woman with dreams of her own\. I’m building something that belongs to me, and I hope my journey inspires other mothers to remember that while we can give so much of ourselves to our families, it’s okay to make space for our own dreams, too\.
That is what “Timeless” means to me: creating memories that last forever while building a legacy of my own\.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is my family, my faith, and becoming the best version of myself. I am a proud mother of three amazing children, and for many years, raising them and being there for my family has been my greatest purpose. I’ve devoted so much of my life to nurturing, guiding, and supporting my children, and I wouldn’t trade those years for anything.
My faith is also a very important part of who I am. Coming from a Muslim background, my values, beliefs, and the way I raise my family are deeply rooted in faith, compassion, gratitude, and doing what is right.
At this stage of my life, I’m also learning that it’s okay to want something for myself. I want to grow professionally, build something meaningful, and create an identity beyond being a wife and mother. I’m proud of the life I’ve built, but I also believe that it’s never too late to pursue new dreams.
What matters most to me is knowing that the life I’m building has purpose—not only for my children and family, but for me as well. I want my children to see their mother as someone who loved deeply, worked hard, believed in herself, and never stopped growing.
