Hi Jessica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am happy to share a brief background on my professional journey and the story behind my business.
I began my career in spa services, which sparked a strong passion for massage therapy and overall wellness. While attending massage school, the connections I built with my clients led to an opportunity to provide services at a local Lexus dealership. During this time, business consultants encouraged and guided me toward starting my own practice.
My primary goal has always been to create a space where clients feel completely relaxed and comfortable. Over the years, I have expanded my offerings to include advanced modalities such as medical-grade personalized aromatherapy, infrared therapy, vibrational sound therapy, negative ion therapy, and amethyst crystal therapy. After 21 years in the same location, I will soon be expanding and relocating my business to the Cultural District. I am excited for this next chapter.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While things haven’t always been smooth, the challenges I’ve faced have helped me learn and grow. In hindsight, the outcomes that didn’t go as planned truly turned out for the best.
We’ve been impressed with My business has been named Urban Escape for over two decades but will soon be operating under a new name: Resonance Bodywork and Wellness Hub., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My practice focuses on restorative and therapeutic massage combined with healing energy work. Each session incorporates infrared, amethyst crystal, negative ion, and vibroacoustic sound therapies, alongside therapeutic-grade essential oils and aromatherapy.
Following a thorough consultation, your session will be customized to meet your specific needs without strict time limits. I schedule fewer appointments each day to ensure every client receives dedicated time, energy, and attention, with the goal of you leaving with a noticeable improvement.

My clients mean the world to me, and providing them with the best possible service is my top priority. To ensure I continue to meet their needs, I am constantly working to expand and evolve my services.
