Hi Tronta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a 26, year old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My name is Tronta Pounds. I attended Pennsylvania College of Technology, I appreciate that college for helping me develop my career as an artist, graphic designer, and customizer. I still am developing my skills, while also developing my business, ‘AngelosArtStudios’ I have an art business website Angelosartstudios.art. I have a licensed LLC for my business also. Its purpose is to inspire and motivate those who are genuinely interested in artwork, customized home and interior design decor. I developed it while studying at Pennsylvania College of Technology for graphic design. It’s a renovation service that can turn a room, office space or lounge area into a custom art studios. I want it to incentive those who are genuinely interested in art, and who may want to learn more and genuinely invest in art. I also am apart of ‘Penn State Alumni Association’ in Philadelphia I have a lot of respect for them as a college association. I hope people if that find out about my business will just be genuine with their intentions to learn and appreciate the craftiness, the mindset, and the skill set of a genuine artist. A point I want to get across with my business is that everyone doesn’t need a certain persona while developing their skills if they genuinely decide to learn more about art. For me its about the craftiness of the artwork itself that can determine that altogether. I do believe that a determined mindset with genuine intentions that is actually interested can understand that. It’s about the willingness to learn, to revise, to continue to inspire and motivate.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
While developing my company, I have had challenges and obstacles like everyone else. Usually I don’t get stuck on the mistakes that are made as a genuine artist, even though no one says they erase, obviously there are moments when people use the eraser. Of course it about how genuine the artist is when it comes to their intentions, skill set, production and there process. Productive artist can be genuine enough. The right way to think about, if there is a mistake genuinely revise the mistake. The wrong mindset to get stuck on is to just see a mistake without there being an actual revision made or even cohesive actions to continue with before, during, or after the mistake. But it’s understandable obviously everyone has made mistakes so it can be understood.

My business is Angelosartstudios, I have a website up ‘Angelosartstudios.art’ I am a customizer who specializes in design decor, customization, sketching, drawing and air brushing. People can see examples of that from my first business model on the ‘Angelosartstudios’ website. I am known for my unique urban designs. I figure people like to see original designs that they know are crafty and genuinely creative. What sets me apart from others is my creative process, the creations I have developed I think through thoroughly to the point where I have got my artwork credited on Google, bing, and creditable platforms. I am most proud of my brand for it’s college associations. I am currently apart of the ‘Penn State Alumni Association’ Philadelphia. I appreciate there help while developing my company. I want people to know I am still developing my business, I have an actual agenda as an adult so I still handle business regardless of the fact that I am an artist. I want to start services those who art interested but it’s all a process building up to the next creation.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
When it comes to networking, I make sure I prepare, I get ready to talk and network appropriately, I think about the information I am going to talk about with others. I try to simplify certain points, it seem like sometime people may not understand an idea until it’s become an product, service and an application. So I want to get people involved genuinely before and up to the point of producing, servicing, and creating the next application. I figure it’s about being proactive, being proactive is about thinking ahead of time, not waiting for the next inconsistencies but actually being consistent.
