Meet Natalie Feinberg of Fein PR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Feinberg.

Hi Natalie , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my career working at PR agencies in New York City, which gave me a great foundation and exposed me to all different kinds of brands, clients, and PR strategies. I loved the work, but eventually I started wondering what it would look like to build something of my own. I wanted more independence, more control over the kind of work I was doing, and honestly, I wanted to see if I could create a business from scratch.

So I took the leap. I started reaching out to brands directly, introducing myself and looking for opportunities wherever I could find them. It was definitely a different experience than working at an established agency because suddenly I was responsible for finding the clients, selling the work, and figuring everything out as I went.

Around that same time, I received a LinkedIn message from a business that was interested in working with me. That first client ended up being a much bigger turning point than I could have anticipated. We had a really successful relationship, and because of the work we did together, I started getting referrals and introductions to other businesses.

That was really when things started to snowball. One opportunity led to another, and some of those relationships and referrals are still paying off today, years later. It showed me how powerful doing great work and building genuine relationships can be. You never really know which opportunity is going to open the next door.

From there, I continued building Fein PR through a combination of reaching out to new brands, referrals, and word of mouth. What started as me taking a chance on myself has grown into a business that I’m really proud of—and I think one of the most rewarding parts has been knowing that I built it organically, one relationship and one opportunity at a time.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as a completely smooth road—I’ve definitely had my fair share of stressful days and challenges—but overall, my journey has been much more consistent and steady than difficult. I think that’s largely because I’ve always believed in showing up and being consistent.

There have definitely been times when I’ve reached a crossroads and had to figure out new ways to market myself, bring in new business, or think about where I wanted to take the company next. But I’ve learned that it’s not always about working harder; it’s about doing the right work upfront so that you can create momentum and eventually reap the benefits.

Of course, I have bad days and stressful days like anyone running a business does. But I think consistently putting in the work—even when you don’t see an immediate payoff—has allowed me to build a business that feels steady rather than constantly chaotic. That’s probably one of my biggest lessons: consistency creates a much smoother road than constantly scrambling for the next opportunity

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fein PR?
Fein PR is an independent, boutique public relations firm that helps brands build visibility, credibility, and authority through strategic PR. I work with a range of companies and founders across areas including technology, AI, healthcare, beauty, lifestyle, consumer brands, and B2B.

What sets Fein PR apart is that I don’t look at PR as simply getting a brand mentioned in the press. I’m focused on building long-term media momentum and creating coverage that continues to work for a business through brand credibility, backlinks, search visibility, and increasingly, AI discoverability.

I also take a very hands-on approach. Because Fein PR is an independent firm rather than a large agency, clients work directly with me throughout the process—from developing the story and positioning to pitching journalists and identifying the right opportunities. I think that allows me to be much more thoughtful and strategic about where and how a brand shows up.

I’m particularly proud of the business I’ve built organically. A lot of my growth has come through client referrals and relationships that have continued to create opportunities years after an initial placement or campaign. That’s something I value tremendously because it means the business has been built on results and relationships rather than simply selling PR.

Ultimately, I want people to know that PR doesn’t have to be about chasing one big headline. The real value comes from consistently putting the right brands, experts, and ideas in front of the right audiences—and building that visibility over time.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is having a sense of balance in my life. I love spending time with my family, being around the people I’m closest to, and having the freedom to enjoy life while also building something I’m proud of. I also genuinely love what I do, so being able to grow my business while still having flexibility in my life is really fulfilling to me.

I think I’m happiest when I feel like I’m moving forward—whether that’s personally, professionally, or just working toward something I’m excited about. I really value the feeling of building a life that feels like my own.
