Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Myers.
Hi Elizabeth, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into graphic design began in 2001 when I pursued a degree with a clear vision: to specialize in the automotive field, creating custom designs for vehicles. My ultimate goal was to establish my own business, allowing me the flexibility to spend more time with my family. However, life often brings unexpected turns, and I had to put that dream on hold for a time.
It wasn’t until about four years ago that I truly reignited that passion. I started by volunteering my design skills for a local non-profit organization, utilizing my first Cricut machine to create custom apparel and small decals for them, as well as for friends and family. The positive reception allowed me to invest in larger equipment, significantly broadening my capabilities for bigger decals and diverse opportunities. I launched a dedicated Facebook page to showcase my evolving portfolio of apparel designs and custom decals. Without the support from family, friends and a few local businesses, whose encouragement helped amplify my reach, this growth would not have been possible. Today, my business has transformed from a simple hobby into a full-fledged creative outlet that allows me to bridge the gap between technical design and tangible artistry. Every project I take on is a reflection of that original passion for automotive aesthetics and a commitment to helping my clients bring their personal visions to life through custom design.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It certainly hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I had to put my dream on hold and take a full-time job to support my family. Navigating the constant balancing act between my career, my growing business, and my responsibilities at home has been one of my greatest challenges.
Beyond time management, I have faced a steep learning curve regarding the technical side of my industry. Because technology is ever-changing, I’ve had to be self-taught, mastering new software and digital tools on the fly without the luxury of returning to a formal classroom. Simultaneously, I’ve had to perfect the hands-on craft of working with my materials, refining my technical skills through trial and error while maintaining the momentum required to keep my business moving forward. It has been a demanding process of constant adaptation, but each obstacle has ultimately helped me become more resourceful and resilient.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a self-taught graphic designer and visual artist specializing in custom automotive decals, branding for local businesses, car clubs, and nonprofits, as well as apparel design. I have built my expertise through hands-on experience, learning the intricacies of my craft through every unique project I take on.

I am most proud of my journey as a self-made professional.
