Today we’d like to introduce you to Fleeger.
Hi Fleeger, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
At this point in time I’m 24, and in the older Gen Z crowd. I was kind of the first generation to experience the type of social media we have today. I still remember the old TV icon for the Youtube app as well as seeing apps like Twitter, Instagram, & Tiktok take off and blow up in popularity. I always had a dream of “being a youtuber” as a kid but it slowly fizzed out getting older. I lived a completely different life in my hometown. However, leaving that area, going to college, meeting some of my best friends now both online and IRL, traveling to different conventions/comic cons, there was a spark to start taking all this seriously, and do what I thought was right. Starting in January of 2025, I wanted to not only take content creation seriously as a career to connect with others in my niche, but do it for the kid inside me to fulfill his dreams. To start living MY life instead of pleasing others. Here we are now only 8 months later in this journey, and the growth I’ve received, and the friends I’ve made, is mind blowing and is something I can never take for granted.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There’s definitely been some bumps in the road. What journey isn’t, right? Not every video is going to perform well, and that was something that affected me, but you gotta realize that’s okay. For the majority of it, I have so many videos that HAVE done well to create to the community I have today. I learned to post more of what my audience likes the most, while still trying new things because you never know, it might turn out well! You should always create what YOU want to, but still take that inspiration from others to keep that creativity fresh.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’d say Im most known for my comedy skits & edits. Overall I do a variety of things from the two I mentioned above, to voice acting, discussion videos, and art. I’m most proud of myself, as cheesy as that sounds, because I was someone who was very scared to even start all of this. Looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have no plans on stopping this any time soon and I want to keep growing as both an artist and as a creator. I would say I’m apart from others just based off of my creativity in the space. As I mentioned, I kinda just post whatever I want and hope for the best. I don’t believe you have to stick to one type of content style. I constantly have my mind running with ideas.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I feel as if social media, both short form & long form, have their set formulas for what works. It changes every year with trends, new features, etc. I don’t think anyone truly knows what’s next. We’re all just going with the flow. By next month there could be a whole new style of content that blows everyone away, and everyone will try to hop on that style. The great thing with being able to create whatever you want with any niche is fantastic. It allows opportunities for ANY type of creative. At the end of the day, create the content that YOU want to.
