Inspiring Conversations with Talia Manning of Beauty Remidy Aesthetics Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Talia Manning.

Hi Talia , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Looking back, I don’t think I ever questioned the path I was meant to take. Every experience throughout my life has simply built upon the one before it.

When I was young, my great-grandmother was living with Alzheimer’s disease. Every week, my grandmother would take me with her to do my great-grandmother’s hair and spend time with her. Watching the compassion, patience, and dignity she showed left a lasting impression on me. Those moments shaped my heart for healthcare, and from then on, I knew I wanted a career dedicated to caring for others.

After high school, I began working as a Patient Care Technician on a neurology unit while earning my nursing degree. Over the next 15 years, I had the privilege of working in neurology, oncology, medical-surgical, step-down, PACU, and peri-anesthesia. Every specialty taught me something different, but they all reinforced the importance of trust, compassion, and treating every patient as an individual.

While nursing fulfilled my passion for helping others, I also discovered a love for artistry. I found that through permanent makeup, I could blend creativity with my clinical background in a way that transformed not only appearances but confidence. That passion naturally grew into injectables, laser treatments, and advanced aesthetic medicine.

Beauty Remidy, a name inspired by my daughter, Remi, was born from that vision. I wanted to create a space where people feel heard, educated, and genuinely cared for while receiving personalized treatments that enhance their natural beauty.

Like many healthcare professionals, the COVID-19 pandemic became a defining chapter in my career. It reminded me how precious time is and gave me the courage to fully invest in the business I had spent years building.

Today, I have the privilege of owning Beauty Remidy while pursuing my Family Nurse Practitioner degree. As I continue to grow, my vision extends beyond aesthetics alone. My goal is to bridge gaps in aesthetics, health, and wellness to provide care that empowers people to not only look their best, but truly feel their best.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No journey worth pursuing is ever completely smooth, and I think that’s what makes it meaningful.

One of my greatest challenges has been learning how to balance being a business owner, a mother, and a lifelong student. We never really stop learning. There have been many late nights after my children were asleep, early mornings before they woke up, and weekends spent studying or working while trying to be fully present for my family. Finding that balance is something I’m still learning every day.

I’ve also learned that entrepreneurship can be lonely. When you’re building something from the ground up, you’re responsible for every decision, every success, and every setback. There isn’t always a roadmap, and there have certainly been moments of self-doubt. Those moments showed me who I am and to always pivot. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of trusting the process, even when progress felt slow.

The biggest lesson through it all has been realizing that growth isn’t always comfortable. Every challenge has pushed me outside of my comfort zone, but it’s also made me a better mother, provider, and business owner. Looking back, I’m grateful for those difficult seasons because they helped shape the person I am today. They also gave me incredible faith.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Beauty Remidy was built on the belief that aesthetics should enhance confidence, not change who you are. My goal has always been to create an experience where every client feels heard, educated, and genuinely cared for.

I specialize in permanent makeup, injectables, laser treatments, tiny tattoos, and advanced aesthetic services. It really is a one stop spot with versatility in many services. What truly sets Beauty Remidy apart is the personalized experience. This isn’t a large Med Spa with multiple providers. Every client who walks through my door works directly with me. I’m the owner, the provider, and the artist behind every treatment, allowing me to build lasting relationships and provide truly individualized care. That is really something I take pride in.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many have been with me for years! they know they’ll receive honest recommendations, natural-looking results, and care that’s centered around their goals rather than the latest trends.

As Beauty Remidy continues to grow, my vision is to expand beyond aesthetics by incorporating health and wellness, while staying true to the personalized care that has always been at the heart of my brand.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is spending quality time with the people I love. Whether it’s being with my children, taking a trip, spending a day on the water with my family, or simply enjoying the little moments that life often moves too quickly for, those are the memories I value most. Those are definitely the moments I wish I could slow down time for.

I’m also someone who genuinely enjoys learning and challenging myself. I love setting goals, growing as a person, and pursuing things that give my life purpose. I believe we’re always evolving, and there’s something fulfilling about becoming a better version of yourself while encouraging others to do the same.

Above all, my faith keeps me grounded and reminds me to stay grateful for every season of life, both the easy ones and the difficult ones. At the end of the day, happiness isn’t about achievements for me. It’s about living a life filled with purpose, meaningful relationships, and making the most of the time we’ve been given.
