Today we’d like to introduce you to Latoya Washington.
Hi Latoya , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
RhemaCreationz Global LLC was born from a vision God placed in my heart in 2011. What began as the simple idea of creating a faith-inspired T-shirt became much more than a clothing brand. Although I received the vision years earlier, it wasn’t until September 2018 that RhemaCreationz officially launched. Looking back, I now understand that God was using that waiting season to develop my faith, refine my character, and prepare me for the greater purpose behind the business.
Since our launch, RhemaCreationz Global LLC has grown into a faith-based creative company dedicated to equipping individuals, families, ministries, and entrepreneurs with resources that inspire hope, healing, and transformation. Alongside my husband and business partner, David Washington, we have expanded beyond apparel to include books, digital products, workshops, coaching, event planning, business resources, and creative branding services.
Every step of the journey has been rooted in one mission: to glorify God by using our gifts to serve others. Through RhemaCreationz Global LLC, we have had the privilege of encouraging people to walk boldly in their God-given purpose while creating meaningful resources that strengthen faith and impact communities.
Our story is a reminder that God’s promises often to unfold in His perfect timing. What started as one vision for a T-shirt has grown into a global ministry and business dedicated to helping others discover hope, healing, restoration, and purpose. We believe the greatest success isn’t measured by what we build, but by the lives that are transformed through what God has entrusted us to create.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has certainly not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, we’ve faced seasons that tested our faith, resilience, and commitment to the vision God gave us. Along the journey, we have experienced rejection, financial setbacks, intellectual property theft, and personal seasons of sickness. There were moments when the weight of those challenges made us question whether we should continue.
What has sustained us is the conviction that RhemaCreationz Global LLC is more than a business, it is an assignment from God. We believe He has called us to creatively express His Word in ways that encourage, equip, and inspire people through apparel, books, digital resources, events, and other creative works.
Those difficult seasons have taught us perseverance, wisdom, and complete dependence on God. Rather than allowing hardship to stop us, we have learned to let it refine us. Every obstacle has strengthened our resolve to serve with excellence and to trust God’s timing, even when the path has been uncertain.
Today, we can honestly say that the struggles have become part of our testimony. They remind us that purpose often requires perseverance, and that God’s faithfulness is revealed not only in moments of success but also in the seasons when we choose to keep moving forward despite the challenges.

Together, we bring a unique blend of professional expertise and ministry experience. David Washington has devoted his career to serving individuals and families in the community. While, Latoya Washington, has spent years serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Those experiences have shaped our hearts for people and continue to influence every resource, program, and service we create.
We are also known for creating transformational experiences through initiatives such as the Broken Vessels Podcast LLC, youth mentorship programs, digital courses, books, workshops, conferences, and community outreach projects. Whether we are designing a T-shirt, publishing a book, mentoring youth, or hosting a workshop, our goal is to point people to Jesus Christ and provide practical resources that help them grow spiritually and personally.
What we are most proud of is not simply what we’ve built, but the lives that have been impacted along the way. Seeing individuals find hope after trauma, families receive support, young people discover their identity and purpose, entrepreneurs launch businesses, and believers grow deeper in their faith is the greatest reward. We are grateful that God has allowed us to use our gifts to serve others while remaining faithful to the assignment He has entrusted to us.
What sets RhemaCreationz Global LLC apart is that we don’t separate ministry from business; they work together. Every product, service, event, and creative project is prayerfully developed with the intention of glorifying God and serving people with excellence. We don’t simply create products; we create opportunities for transformation.
Our personal testimony of overcoming adversity, combined with decades of professional experience in human services, coaching, education, ministry, and community engagement, allows us to connect with people in an authentic and meaningful way. We believe creativity is a gift from God, and our mission is to use every gift He has given us to share His love, His truth, and His hope with the world.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The greatest lesson we’ve learned is the importance of remaining consistent in spite of challenges, adversity, and loss. Entrepreneurship and ministry are both journeys of faith, and we’ve discovered that success is not built solely on talent or opportunity. Our business It is built through perseverance, integrity, obedience, and consistency.
There have been seasons of rejection, financial setbacks, intellectual property theft, sickness, and disappointment that could have easily caused us to give up. Instead, those moments strengthened our faith and reminded us that every challenge is an opportunity to trust God more deeply. We have learned that our responsibility is to remain faithful to the assignment He has given us, even when the results are not immediately visible.
Consistency has taught us to keep showing up, keep serving, and keep creating, regardless of the circumstances. We believe that God honors faithfulness, and over time, small acts of obedience produce lasting impact. Looking back, we realize that many of our greatest opportunities came because we refused to quit.
Our journey has affirmed that purpose is not determined by the absence of obstacles but by the willingness to keep moving forward with faith, integrity, and excellence. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” That scripture has become a guiding principle for both our business and our lives.
