Hi Mitesh, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I did my associates in IT. Then did my bachelor’s in Business and Finance. I always have fun with numbers so I did my master’s in Accountancy.
During my master’s degree I got 2 scholarships, one to do CMA (Certified Management Accountant) from my university and other for CPA (Certified Public Accountant) from the state of Pennsylvania. I managed to passed both the examinations in the first attempt.
With both the credentials, I worked for local municipal government, non-profit organizations, and accounting firms.
I got my accounting experience from an accounting firm in New Jersey.
Now I started practicing on my own. I have been in the accounting industry for 7 years and practicing my own for last 3 years.
This is how I formed Patel CPA LLC.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life is never smooth for many people and I am no different. For me the I had some personal family issues. But you deal with issues on every moment of life.
