Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Bullock.

Hi Jennifer, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it has been a rich and challenging road not a smooth one. As a child I had learning struggles due to dyslexia and difficult home life so I was not supposed to make it to college. Thank goodness I had tenacity and determination: tell me I cant do something, then watch 🙂 I moved out on my own at 17 and worked my way through collage and two graduate degrees with academic honors by my mid 20s. I quickly became involved in child advocacy, supporting children and youth trapped in abusive homes and/or in the very bureaucratic systems meant to help and protect. That work has been extremely rewarding and heartbreaking, which lead me to move my community activism to performance and play activism and helping to change the political systems that are meant to but do not serve the people. As a relationship coach and group therapist, my work is very rewarding and fun and stimulating and hard and heavy, so yes a rich and challenging road.
