Daily Inspiration: Meet Joe Brewer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joe Brewer.

Hi Joe, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After graduating from art school, I ended up in sales for a National company selling outdoor electrical signs throughout the USA…When my wife said what are you going to do when you retire I said I have no idea. She said I wish you would get back into your artwork so I painted my two of my grand dogs. And took them to my last two conventions. Which were veterinarian expos. And there I found out that it was a hit with. People . That was eight years ago and ever since we have had a three month wait list doing pet portraits, but creating big smiles for pet parents across the Country.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding the rate market and venues

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart from other artists is that my work is done on 800 grit Uart sandpaper which creates a three dimensional look and give me more tooth with my pastel. It’s like the fur baby is coming right out of the page.
