One80 Consultation’s story started with a simple belief: great businesses deserve to be seen.
After spending more than 17 years working in business, marketing, operations, and consulting, I saw the same challenge over and over again. Small business owners were experts in their craft, but many struggled to tell their story online, generate consistent leads, or compete with larger companies that had bigger marketing budgets.
That realization led me to launch One80 Consultation. The goal was never to become just another marketing agency. Instead, I wanted to build a company that could help businesses completely rethink how they present themselves to the world — from their website and branding to their Google presence, SEO, customer experience, and overall growth strategy.
Today, One80 Consultation is headquartered in Boardman, Ohio, but our reach extends throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. In many ways, Pittsburgh has become one of our most important markets and a community that holds a special place in my heart. It is a city I visit regularly, a city I deeply respect, and a city filled with hardworking business owners who remind me why I started this company in the first place.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with businesses throughout the Pittsburgh region, including Tri-Link Contracting, Mission Sierra Media, Rural Valley Farms, and many other organizations. We’ve also provided countless free consultations to local business owners who simply needed guidance, direction, or someone willing to share knowledge without expecting anything in return.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that we’ve never measured success solely by revenue. We measure success by impact. Sometimes that means helping a company double its online visibility. Sometimes it means building a website that finally reflects the quality of a business. Other times it means sitting down with an entrepreneur over coffee and helping them avoid costly mistakes.

Looking back, the journey has been filled with challenges, lessons, and countless late nights. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve learned through trial and error, adapting to changing technology, changing markets, and changing customer expectations. But every challenge reinforced the same lesson: businesses grow when they have the right strategy, the right systems, and someone genuinely invested in their success.
Today, One80 Consultation continues to grow, serving businesses across Ohio and Pennsylvania while staying committed to the values that started it all — honesty, service, relationships, and helping local businesses thrive.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not always been a smooth road. But honestly, I believe the obstacles are a big part of the success.
Every challenge taught me something important. It taught me how to build better systems, how to communicate better with clients, how to manage expectations, and how to keep improving instead of giving up. When you are growing a company, you quickly learn that problems are not always a bad thing. Sometimes they are the reason the company becomes stronger, smarter, and more mature.
One of the biggest lessons has been learning that no company grows by one person alone. A strong team is everything. You can have vision, ideas, and passion, but without the right people around you, it is very hard to build something that lasts.
At One80 Consultation, our growth has come from learning, adapting, and building a team that truly cares about the businesses we serve. We have faced pressure, mistakes, long nights, and moments where we had to figure things out quickly. But those moments helped us become more resilient.
I am proud of the challenges because they shaped the company. They taught us to stay humble, stay focused, and keep getting better. That is how a business grows — not by avoiding obstacles, but by learning from them.
