Rising Stars: Meet Tabby Malenchek of Pennsylvania

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tabby Malenchek.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Four years ago, my life looked completely different. I was working waitress hours, surviving on caffeine, stress, and whatever tips made it through the week.
Then one morning, I got the phone call that changed everything. My mom had suffered a massive stroke. Two weeks in a coma. No brain activity. We were preparing to say goodbye and the day we went to pull the plug, she woke up. No speach. Half of her body paralyzed in that moment, my entire life changed.
I quit my job and poured everything I had into caring for her while also being a full-time stay-at-home mom. For three years, I lived in survival mode. Caregiver. Mom. Household manager. Everything for everyone else somewhere along the way I lost myself. Then reality hit even harder.
Money got tighter and tighter, and raising a family of six on one income in this economy felt nearly impossible.
One day, instead of sitting there scrolling and watching everyone else build a life online, I decided to try it myself.
I thought, “How hard could UGC really be?”
Yeah I learned REAL quick this isn’t just posting cute little videos. This is a full-time job.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some people talk about hating their jobs… and here I am, sitting in the middle of the chaos, feeling like I’m somehow living my dream. Not because it’s easy. Because trust me… life is still hard. I’m learning how to date my husband again. I’m on a weight loss journey trying to become healthier mentally and physically. I’m raising three kids, two wild little boys and a newly 16-year-old daughter who keeps me humble daily.
My hands are always full, while trying to raise my own family… I’m also learning how to be a mother to my own mother too.
That part still hurts sometimes. But through all of it, I have faith that somehow it’s all going to work out the way it’s supposed to.
I’ve enjoyed connecting with other moms so much that I even created a support group on Instagram a place where moms can support each other, grow together, and chase dreams that may have felt impossible before.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Nearly 9 months into creating, I’ve learned there’s strategy, editing, rejection, consistency, self-doubt, and a whole lot of late nights behind the scenes.
But somewhere in the middle of all of it I found myself again. I wasn’t just “mom” anymore. I felt happy. Motivated. Creative. Connected. And now?
I get to help other moms laugh through my silly videos. I’ve met genuine friends from all across the U.S., connected with an amazing community of women, and been given opportunities to work with companies I never imagined I’d even hear from.
