Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Llewellyn.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2015. My very first job was in a chiropractor’s office in New Holland, PA, where I was introduced to the Amish community as clients. That connection stuck with me. Over the following years I worked in chiropractic offices across the Lancaster and York areas and even with WellSpan when they had an employee massage therapy program.
Then COVID hit. I had just moved back from Tampa and was working out of a chiropractic office in Red Lion when everything shut down. On a whim, I reached out to the Amish clients I’d stayed in touch with over the years — and I also took out an ad in the Busy Beaver Magazine. Twice. I became the busiest beaver!
I officially launched Integrated Mobility in 2021. Word spread quickly, and I became a mobile, in-home massage therapist serving Amish communities across Lancaster County — Narvon, Parkesburg, Lititz, Quarryville, Gordonville, Peachbottom. I was booked out six to eight weeks in advance. It was incredible — and exhausting. Driving an hour each way, seeing four or five clients a day in different homes… eventually my mind and body said enough.
So I made the leap to a brick-and-mortar location. I began networking heavily in York through groups like the Buy Local Coalition, WREN, and a local BNI chapter. My first studio was in the beautiful New York Wire Works building, where I shared space with another LMT in a similar chapter of her career.
After two years there, I felt the pull to have a space that was truly my own. I’d been dreaming of a mansion on Market Street — and somehow, that’s exactly what I found. The owners gave me full creative freedom to make it my own, and since December 2025, Integrated Mobility has been located in a stunning historic mansion on Market Street in York. It feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth? Absolutely not — and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Leaving financial security for the unknown was terrifying. When you’re used to a steady paycheck, betting on yourself feels reckless. But staying where I was wasn’t an option either — doing house calls forever wasn’t sustainable, and I knew it. Failing simply wasn’t on the table. So I jumped.
Then came the learning curve I didn’t see coming: marketing. My Amish clients didn’t need Instagram. They didn’t need a website. Word traveled by word of mouth, and that world made sense to me. Suddenly I had to figure out how to reach the “English” population — and that meant social media. Ugh. I won’t pretend I embraced it gracefully.
Networking was its own beast entirely. Walking into a room and talking about myself and my business felt completely unnatural. I’m a hands-on person — put someone on my table and they’ll feel exactly what I do. But standing up at a BNI meeting and articulating it? That was hard. It took practice, discomfort, and a lot of showing up anyway.
What got me through all of it was simply knowing what I wanted and trusting myself to make it happen. That quiet certainty was louder than the fear.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Integrated Mobility Massage Therapy ?
Integrated Mobility Massage Therapy — and our tagline says it all: Feel the Difference.
What sets us apart is simple: I treat the whole person, not just the problem area. Every session begins with a visual assessment of your posture and a hands-on evaluation of what your body is actually telling me it needs. I also take time to check in on you — how life is going, what’s weighing on you — because we are so much more than physical beings. We are emotional, mental, and spiritual too, and all of those layers show up in the body.
My approach blends structural integration and craniosacral therapy, working with the fascia and nervous system to create something that is entirely unique to each individual who walks through the door. No two sessions look the same, because no two people are the same.
I am incredibly proud of this brand because at its core, it truly listens. Clients have described the studio as welcoming and cozy — a place where they feel safe enough to let their body do what it needs to do. Located in a beautiful historic mansion on Market Street in York, the space itself reflects that same intention: warm, unhurried, and nothing like your average massage appointment.
When people leave and say they felt the difference — that’s everything.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
So many people deserve credit, and I don’t take that lightly.
First and foremost — my clients. Every single person who has trusted me with their body, their time, and their story has played a role in building this business. Their support means everything, and I am endlessly grateful for each of them.
Jeff Bellomo deserves a huge thank you for helping me find my footing in the networking world. Walking into that world felt foreign to me, and having someone guide me through it made all the difference. The ladies of WREN have also been an incredible source of ongoing support — that community of women continues to show up for me in the most genuine way.
My fiancé — soon to be my husband on September 19th, 2026 — has been my rock through all of it. He has listened to every worry, celebrated every win, and shown up on the best days and the hardest ones without hesitation. I truly could not have done this without him.
And my dear friend Laura of Crimson & Ivy — who not only nominated me for this very feature but has also been the eye behind my brand photography. She has captured the heart of Integrated Mobility beautifully, and her belief in this vision from the very beginning means more than words can say.
To everyone who has cheered me on along the way — thank you. You are woven into every part of this.
