Hi Ginny, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started working in the tourism industry shortly after graduating college in 2013. And I’ve been here ever since. I’ve learned not only is this industry fun, but filled with amazing people. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications and once I took this job, they paid for a course to earn my certificate in non-profit management.

Visit Lawrence County is the official tourist promotion agency for Lawrence County, PA. Our goal is to showcase Lawrence County as a destination to live, work and visit. From the rolling hills of the Amish Countryside to the underground limestone mines you can ride ATV’s in, there is much to explore!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Do not be afraid of hard work and staying later to get things done. And organization is only as good as it’s people. If you are not willing to give more, the organization will not be as well. Learn to listen. Listening to those older and those who have been in the field longer have so much wisdom to give, even if it’s just by watching them.
