Community Highlights: Meet Tracy Shearer of Flourish With Tracy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Shearer.

Hi Tracy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey began in the corporate world, where I spent over three decades in leadership, operations, and change management roles. Despite external professional success, internally, I was exhausted, stressed, and disconnected from my health and well-being. I was out of balance, made poor food choices, and began to struggle with my health. Like many high-performing professionals, I prioritized work over myself until my body made it clear that something had to change, that continuing in this manner was not sustainable.

That wake-up call led me to completely reevaluate how I was living. I began applying the same strategic thinking I used in business to my personal health — focusing on nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and lifestyle changes. Using my background in process transformation, I changed my “intake” – foods, environment, and engagements which resulted in weight loss, reversal of ailments, reclaimed energy, clarity and eliminated need for medications.

What started as a personal journey quickly became a calling. I realized that if I could create this level of change in my own life, I could help others do the same. That realization led to the creation of Flourish With Tracy, where I now guide individuals through holistic, realistic, and empowering wellness journeys.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My path has not been without challenges. It has definitely not been a smooth road. One of the biggest struggle was learning to unlearn the belief that pushing harder was the answer to everything. For years, I operated in survival mode — juggling tasks, initiatives, objectives and deliverables with the belief that my worth was tied to productivity.

Another challenge was trusting myself enough to step away from a traditional corporate path and into a purpose-driven one. Transitioning careers required courage, humility, and patience — especially while navigating new level of education, certifications, entrepreneurship, and the vulnerability of sharing my personal story publicly.

These challenges became my greatest teachers. Instead of allowing them to define me, I used struggles and challenges as the catalyst for change. I began to see challenges as an opportunity to grow and shift. I allowed myself space and respected that change takes time, I would not create nor allow for artificial deadlines. This realistic approach was just what I needed. I now bring this “stop, appreciate, take a breath” approach to my work which allows me to meet clients exactly where they are — without judgment and without unrealistic expectations.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Flourish With Tracy?

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is authentic transformation – helping people reconnect with themselves — shifting how people live, think, and care for themselves. Holistic health and wellness touch every aspect of our lives, that everything we input will become our output – from the food we eat, how we move, how we breathe, and how we show up each day in our bodies, thought processes, and inner strength. I believe true wellness isn’t about perfection or discipline; it’s about presence, awareness, and making choices that align with who you are and how you want to live. It’s important to recognize and respect that this alignment may looks different for each of us.

I care deeply about guiding people away from burnout, self-neglect, and disconnection and toward lives that feel grounded, nourishing, and sustainable. Because when people feel well — physically, mentally, and emotionally — everything else in their lives improves, shifting from “doing” to “be-ing”.

At the heart of my work is a simple truth: you already have what you require within you — sometimes you just need support remembering it.
