Today we’d like to introduce you to Necia B.
Hi Necia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got started with my writing career when I was 12 years old writing my emotions out in my journey cause I couldn’t speak up for myself or protect my inner child or myself from the abuse that I had suffered from family & so called friends . Years later I published my first poetry book The Ride of My Life after my best friend and Therapist kinda throw it back into my life that I should share my story with the world cause I can inspire someone. They’re my biggest supporters and guidance in my life besides the man above . If it wasn’t for them I would’ve never gotten out this dark place that I was in that almost had my life come to an end .
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life itself has it challenges . Alongs you pray and believe in yourself and keep the positive energy near you and the negative energy away from you , you will be okay .

I wear a lot of hats on my sleeves.. everything I do shocked me because I’ve always been this shy person , didn’t know what to do with my life , what I wanted to be growing up . I was all over the place within myself and career. It took for me to enter high school to find my identity and passion. Now I’m climbing the mountains as a business woman, aspiring actress, writer, poet and author. What sets me from others is that I’m different . I’m cut from a different cloth . I don’t follow the trend I set them. I am proud of me and the woman I am becoming . Regardless of what I’ve been through during my upbringing I don’t let it define me.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I’ve always been that shy little girl but didn’t take no crap from anyone . Funny, outgoing when I need to be, laid back, the entertainer , the peace maker , down to earth, humbled . Keep my circle tight.
