Today we’d like to introduce you to Deidre Quinn.
Hi Deidre, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For years, I traveled extensively investigating internal theft for a retail company. My role was to prevent loss, uncover dishonesty, conduct interviews, and ultimately terminate employees. While I was effective in the role, the work was inherently adversarial, focused on resolving conflict and delivering outcomes that seldom felt positive.
I realized that I wanted my energy to go toward something that built people up instead of breaking situations down.
I had always loved real estate including the strategy, the psychology and the impact it can have on someone’s life. Buying a home isn’t just a transaction; it’s stability, pride, and often the foundation for generational wealth. I saw an opportunity to shift from investigating problems to creating possibilities.
I made the leap into real estate over 20 years ago, and what began as a career change became a calling. Through market shifts, economic cycles, and personal growth, I evolved from being a salesperson to building a team, hosting a wealth-focused podcast, and becoming a television host showcasing the very communities I serve.
Today, I don’t just help clients buy and sell homes, I help them think strategically about ownership, equity, and long-term financial freedom. I also coach and lead a team of agents who are an extension of that mission. I mentor them to build sustainable businesses rooted in integrity, service, and long-term wealth thinking, so that every client we serve benefits from that same strategic and value driven approach.
That transition from investigating loss to helping create legacy not just for my clients, but through the professionals I lead @ eXp Realty has been one of the most meaningful shifts of my life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a journey, and not without its challenges. From the market crash in 2008 to the volatility and shut down of COVID, slower markets, rising interest rates, and the rapid rise of AI and social media, all while raising two children and making payroll in uncertain times, every season stretched me and strengthened me. Nothing in this business, remains constant, and I’ve learned that growth comes from embracing that change rather than fearing it.
We’ve been impressed with The Deidre Quinn Team, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At its core, my business is about strategy, stability, and long-term wealth, not just transactions.
I lead a Philadelphia and Pocono based real estate team @ eXp Realty, focused on residential sales, investment strategy, and helping clients think beyond the immediate transaction. While many agents focus on volume, I specialize in clarity and educating clients so they can make confident, wealth-building decisions rooted in data and long-term vision.
What sets us apart is our philosophy: we don’t chase transactions, we build relationships. My team is an extension of my standards and values. I coach them to operate with integrity, preparation, and a long-term mindset so that every client experience reflects thoughtful strategy, not pressure. Education is central to everything we do because informed clients make empowered decisions.
We are known for being steady in volatile markets. I’ve built this business through the 2008 crash, pandemic volatility, rising interest rates, and slower growth cycles. That resilience shapes how we advise clients. We advise with perspective, discipline, and strategy rather than emotion.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that our name is associated with trust and guidance. Clients come to us not just for access to homes, but for insight. We focus on helping first-time buyers gain confidence, move-up buyers make smart transitions, and investors evaluate opportunities through a long-term wealth lens.
Beyond real estate, I’ve expanded into media and education through my podcast and American Dream TV work, where I highlight wealth-building conversations and showcase the neighborhoods we serve. Whether I’m on camera or at a closing table, the mission remains the same: empower people through ownership, education, and informed decision making.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: Real estate isn’t just about buying and selling property. It’s about building options, stability, and legacy. That is the work we’re committed to every day.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I wouldn’t be here alone and I think that’s important to say.
Early in my career, Kathy Conway played a foundational role. I learned so much from her about professionalism and how to truly serve clients. She helped shape the standards I still operate by today.
At home, my husband has been my greatest cheerleader. Entrepreneurship is never a solo effort, and he has carried more than his share so I could build and lead at a high level. That kind of support doesn’t go unnoticed.
Professionally, I’m incredibly proud of my team. They are an extension of my values and work ethic. Many of them have grown alongside me, and our administrative leader has been with us for over eight years which is a testament to loyalty, stability, and shared vision. Sustained success comes from consistency, and I’m grateful to work alongside people who care deeply about the clients we serve.
Of course, my clients deserve enormous credit. They’ve trusted me during some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. That trust is something I never take lightly.
No business is built alone. Mine has been built through mentorship, partnership, loyalty, and shared commitment.
