Conversations with Geovana Attwell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Geovana Attwell.

Hi Geovana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Geovana Attwell, an influencer, writer, and the author of my debut poetry book, It Rained Until the Flowers Grew.
My journey didn’t begin with confidence or certainty. It began in a place of deep emotional pain, growing up with bullying and the belief that I wasn’t worthy of love.

For years, I questioned why I was never “enough,” why no one chose me, and why I kept losing myself in relationships where I gave everything. I idealized people, put them on a pedestal, and broke pieces of myself trying to make others happy.

After several heartbreaks, I turned to writing—not because it was easy, but because it was the one place where my heart finally felt understood. I always dreamed of becoming a writer, but I never imagined that my healing journey would be the path that made it real. What started as a way to make sense of my emotions eventually grew into the book that changed my life.

Through writing, I discovered that my experiences could help other women feel seen, understood, and less alone. Today, I use my platforms to share softness, healing, and emotional strength. My work is rooted in the belief that even from heartbreak, something beautiful can bloom.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road definitely hasn’t been smooth, but every challenge has strengthened me. Growing up with bullying and emotional wounds made it difficult at times to believe fully in my work or my voice. Healing my inner child became an important part of my journey — learning to rise again, rebuild my confidence, and walk forward with purpose.

Facing those past experiences while building my book and platform wasn’t easy. But transforming pain into something meaningful taught me resilience. Every challenge has helped me grow into a more grounded, intentional, and confident creator.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As an artist and creative, my work lives at the intersection of storytelling, emotional healing, and feminine aesthetics. I’m an influencer and the author of It Rained Until the Flowers Grew, a poetry book that blends vulnerability, empowerment, and visual beauty.

I specialize in creating content that speaks to women who feel deeply—women who are healing, rediscovering their worth, and learning to choose themselves. Through my writing, photography, and online presence, I focus on softness, emotional growth, and celebrating the inner child. My aesthetic is inspired by coquette, pastel, and romantic visual elements that reflect the tenderness of my message.

I’m most proud of the fact that I turned my personal pain into art that now reaches and comforts others. What sets me apart is my authenticity: I don’t just create content—I tell stories from real experiences, real heartbreak, and real healing. My work isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection. And I believe that’s what makes my voice unique in this space.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about this city is its nature and the way the seasons transform everything around you. Each season feels like its own story — from the colors of autumn to the quiet beauty of winter, the blooming of spring, and the warmth of summer. The landscapes, the peaceful atmosphere, and the small cafés often inspire my creativity and help me feel grounded. There’s a calmness here that I truly enjoy.

What I like least is that the community can feel a bit more distant at times. People tend to keep to themselves, which can make it harder to build close friendships or feel a strong sense of connection. I would love to see more unity and warmth among people here. But even so, this city has its own charm, and it continues to teach me how to appreciate solitude and find inspiration in quiet places.
